Why is yanking broken?

It is impossible to yank from the hatch, generators are impossible to yank from if the survivor lets go anytime during your grab, the only yanks that still happen are in the windows, is it just me?

    Maybe just you. I've gotten a couple hatch grabs and spirit generator grabs the past few days. I've also had some grab animations end in an injured, running survivor, but I do get grabs. Just gotta remember to tap and not hold. Lunge does nothing.

    Yeah, I know lunging doesn’t result in a grab, but I’ve been breathing down the neck of survivors on the hatch, the jump in, and then nothing, it may only be on Xbox, which I do play on.

    Yeah thats odd then, I'm on ps4 so its consoles but still different framework so I'm not sure. Sorry that's happening though.

    I've been having the same issue on xbox.  hatch grabs fail to engage at all (about 25% of the time) and grabs off gens are about the same.  but I'm occasionally getting locked into the grab animation even as the survivor scurries away to safety.

    Same on ps4. Grab animation goes off while survivor runs away from gen. Happens like 1/4.

    I can confirm, if you drop the surv to escape via hatch and right after wanna grab (no lunge, short click) him/her while escaping, it wont perform the catch in PC version

    don't know about hatch but grab are 100% broken i rarely grad someone off the gen even tho the animation already started

    Same. Since I often play Micheal/Wraith gimmick "jump-scare" builds I haven't been able to enjoy the game as much due to this grab/animation bug.

    I run Amanda. I pop open a bottle of Champagne if I manage to grab someone from a Generator.

    I've had that a few times still nailing grabs in Windows but once went to grab from a gen on the game and it froze until the Claudette I tried to grab disconnected restoring me to moving

    While on the topic of yanking, did you know you can yank people as doctor when in treatment mode?

    there is an animation/program action glitch, I've been seeing it alot lately.

    Windows are fine but I've had trouble with gens. Last grab I got; I pulled em off the gen but before placing them on the shoulder it let go and swung at the same time. Super weird looking.

    this happens to me on ps4 as well it sucks because stealth Myer build is very useless if grabs are fautly

    It's a good way to punish people who force you to camp. Since you can't hit them, you won't get the post-hit cooldown. You'll pull them off 100% of the time.

    I’m trying for the skilled huntress achievement, since it’s the last one I need, but I’ll remeber that when I go back to the doctor

    I go through this too on PS4. When I go to grab a survivor as they vault it kind of pauses and then lets then go through. Same for gens, I'll grab them, but it'll pause and then they just get up and run away. If it isn't one thing it's another, hopefully the devs look into it.

    I hate the bug when you get a grab animation, but then the killer does a hit instead and misses

    Yanking does work though.
    I just yanked the sleep button from my keyboard, after the third time she decided to step on it during a game...
