Rotten Pumpkin, despite being a BP add-on, is easily one of the best of Demo's new suite.
Yes, Liver is almost as good as it used to be.
Yes, Heart is 4 stacks of perma STBFL on Shred.
Yes, Glasses is a free Brutal Strength.
Rotten Pumpkin, however, allows Demo to use his portals CONSTANTLY.
- Hide 5 portals around the map to use exclusively as Exits.
- Keep one portal on your person at all times to use exclusively as an Entrance.
- Every TEN SECONDS you can plop down your entrance portal and teleport to one of your exits.
- Automatically destroy your Entrance behind you, meaning you get your portal back. No more "keep a spare portal so you can traverse from wherever you want once", since you can use it ENDLESSLY.
Oh, and it also gives 200 BP per portal use. On top of an effect strong enough for a green add-on, it gives you money.

That's good, if it proves as strong as it sounds on paper, they can eventually add it as baseline mechanic.

I knew someone would say this! I always thought this add-on wouldn't even be a meme, but something pretty damn useful.
Might even be the new Rat Liver.

I don't think you'd want it to be basekit - it's a different strategy than without. You don't always want to destroy the portal you enter through.
It's definitely powerful, though, and one I look forward to using.

Yeah, I remember someone suggesting this exact strategy when it was first unveiled. TBH, that might be somewhat comparable to Mint Rag.

Honestly, I almost expected them to nerf the Add-On from the PTB to destroy the exit instead, which would have been really funny since it would be his "meme Add-On" that would get nerfed.
One of my favorite builds to try on the PTB was Devour Hope Demo with the rotten pumpkin and the lifeguard whistle. You put down a portal right next to the totem and activate it, with the whistle you will ALWAYS know when someone is near the totem and depending on if its in a corner or near a wall you can force them to be oblivious during the cleansing. If you are too far away to surprise them you just put down a portal and teleport, if they are close enough you attack them. Once you have 3 stacks it was mostly gg.

After trying it out I can confirm this ######### is busted as hell.
You can literally use portals mid chase with Pumpkin, like Freddy's gen teleport.
Crazy good.

You're blowing my mind man. This thread is blowing my mind.

Try it, it's really fun and works even against better players if you know what to do. My build is Devour/Thana/Infectious/BBQ.
-Devour is obviously the fundament of the build.
-Thana for the cleansing penalty (+ gen stalling but that one is just a bonus), since if you start the mori just as they start cleansing you may run out of time without it, but this can be mitigated by placing a portal before you start the mori.
-Infectious to snowball at 3 stacks and if you happen to chase a survivor near the totem and can down them next to someone cleansing the totem, IF actually interrupts the cleansing process due to them screaming, so instead of having to leave the injured survivor to protect the totem, you can instead down them AND protect the totem at the same time.
-BBQ because I am a BP addict.
I would rate fun/10 and who doesn't want to cuddle with demo?
