So, why was Deer Lung nerfed?
I don't really understand why was it nerfed, why remove Portals? Previously it hasn't removed Portals and it was fine. (Also I just want to point out, patch notes are wrong, it got nerfed from 40% to 30%, not the other way around)

Except that it got changed back to 40%. It got nerfed in the PTB from 40% to 30%. Then on release they changed it back from 30% to 40%.
Considering you have addons and perks that are very strong with quick map traversal, having 2 portals less is fine.

And what are your sources? The dbd wiki? Because the DBD wiki doesnt update their numbers instantly. There are things from 5 patches ago that still remain on there. Heck, before I altered it, people added on the wiki that 4 vigil's stacked up to 80% reduction, even though 4 vigils stacked is closer to 40%.

I kinda like it tbh, we did get faster movement speed for his portals in its base-kit so I can't be disappointed. Plus it might encourage a different playstyle for Demo, who knows.

I have access to the code of the game, cannot share screenshots here for obvious reasons, and it still states that the value is 30%.

I must agree that it's interesting, I actually need to try combining it with the add-on that removes Portals on use.

Everyone can have access to it tho. Besides, client side code doesnt always represent server side code. Server side code is what matters here. Heck, there is client side code that refers to some Oni skins as "The Executioner". Which is also obviously wrong, as Oni is normally referred to as Kazan, Oni or Warrior.

That is wrong. Whoever typed up the patch notes at BHVR had accidentally switched the values in regards to which was the old and which was the new, something the wiki was clever enough to figure out and verify by cross-referencing it with the game's code. If anything that tells me you're not really in the position to criticize the wiki here, as you do in a later post.
And for your information: the devs can't just change the values of add-ons around, that is something that requires a patch, as unlike for example emblems, it's not something they can do through their backend.
