I feel like this whenever I'm playing in the new maps. They look great tho.

Yes but the old corn was just the same imo

Corn maps suck no matter what.

I'm colourblind and the rework is genuinely awful to deal with. Between the marks on the floor, the scratchmarks, the brightness and the gens against the colour backdrop it's borderline unplayable for me. I'd honestly start DC'ing everytime the map comes up but that's not an option due to the penalty. Sad times because clearly a lot of effort went into the map. Just no consideration was given to those with eyesight issues once again.

New Autohaven is so dark you can't see from one end of a truck to the other, and the corn maps are blinding us at high noon. It's absurd. Leave it to the devs to keep breaking things for no reason.

It doesn't hurt my eyes....but my god....that map is ######### TITANIC! Its got to be the largest map ever in DBD. It felt like walking across 2-3 maps going from end to end. And theres tons of dead space....I don't even.....

I feel like the very homogenous color scheme is causing too much strain. Either that or it's truly how bright the map is, I wish it could be toned down a bit.

Aside from opinions on the theme, it's objectively too bright. The problem is that the whole game is very dark so the contrast with the reworked maps is really strong. If your eyes are adapted to the dark, bye bye eyes.

Yeah the map is just a bit too bright. And the corn does not help.

I think they need to lower the brightness a bit, maybe make it closer to Dead Dawg level so not night but not super bright.

Geez, how many of you people faced old flashlights again ? The ones that completely covered your whole screen in extremely bright white at the time when DBD was extremely dark overall with basically no bright maps at all, not even a little.

That was bright and it existed for several years burning out eyes of many killer players.

This is nothing but gorgeous medium brightness.

The maps are too bright, I agree. It's even harder to see than before...

The problem I am having on these new corn maps is that it is near impossible to see the scratch marks in the sunlight. If a survivor runs past a gen in sunlight, the additional light from that makes it that much harder to see. Basically, the new maps give free escapes...at least for me it does. I didn't think it would be possible for me to hate a map more than the the green tinted ones. The overall brightness needs to be toned down.

I actually have no problem with the lighting. It's just the corn being way too tall and dense, you literally can't see through them unlike before.

Yeah same. Bad eyes yesterday, fine until playing that map.
