Need advice on chasing survivors on the new Coldwind Farm maps

I just had a match where a Claudette was out of position, so she ran to the cornfield and started 360ing. Although this is an easy down and I normally don't have a problem dealing with survivors who 360, since the corn is so long, I literally couldn't see anything and she managed to escape. I felt quite silly and was really mad at myself for losing her since it was an opportunity wasted. In case I experience this again in the future, do any fellow killer players have any tips on how to counter this? Do I just have to guess where she is even if I whiff several times? Aesthetically speaking, I like the new map update, but I just wish the length of the corn would have also been adjusted.

I see. Has the corn vision ever given you trouble as well? Because I've noticed that a lot of Huntress mains don't really seem all that phased by it and are still able to land their shots fairly easily by paying attention to where the corn moves.

It can be really hard to spot them on the corn. Luckily, I was playing plague and the best advice that I can give you is to focus on the blood pools on the ground if you lose them.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I'll keep this in mind for next time.
