Dead by daylight opening scream in RE8
I was playing re8 and immediately recognized this scream. Not sure if it's a generic scream or not but it's certainly the same one in the dbd intro video. If the cat was not out of the bag about the new chapter coming next this would of been a cool hint.

Probably a scream similar to the wilhelm one (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilhelm_scream) that is pretty famous. Could also be a nod, i mean, they did make a deal with them.

I noticed this too. I doubt it's a reference to DbD though. Probably just a common sound people can use. Just like i've heard some sounds DbD has elsewhere.

Most likely Meg, it's from the intro cinematic which features Claudette, Dwight, and Jake. By means of deduction it would make the most sense for it to be Meg's as she is absent from the cinematic.
