SWF is only playable mod for Survivors
Solo mod is really terrible. If your teammates do gens fast you will have win chance but most of them just not doing anything. That is maybe because of matchmaking i dont know. I am red rank but so rare we playing full red rank. Usually 2 red (or 1 red & 1 purple) & 1 green & 1 yellow. And that makes games hard for everyone. And you do not know about your team skills.
But swf is different. You know your friends skills. You are trusting them. You know everyone doing objectives. That makes game playable for survivors.
I know most killers blaming swf teams but i can not see any different for killer. Some of them are sweat teams but most of them just normal survivors. They are just playing with their friends. You can not force people to play solo. If you do that, people will stop play.
And also killers have high rates on all ranks. I do not know what killers waiting. %95 killing rates?

Solo queue is hell coming from someone who play 80% solo 20% swf there's just yesterday 3 times I got into stage two on first hook because of randoms they do no gens they have zero, mobility and coordination, they all run towards same hook etc etc

and playing killer against SWF is hell.
seems like the only solution is to remove SWF or nerf SWF and both solo and killers will be happy

I wanna see Trapper buffs first actually. He is weakest killer from start to now.

Or buff solos and killers, because people shouldn't be punished for wanting to play with their friends.

The problem is by buffing solos then SWF will think they are punished for being SWF and will demand those buffs too.

SWF have coordination, that's all.
So you can buff solos without help SWF.
+Kindred base-kit for solo survivors.
+Add chat to game, with 7 8 messages. Survivors can use it. For example when you click 1 "Lord_Tony: I am going to save".
+Survivors can see perks on lobby, so that will help to use tactics.
This will help solo survivors so much. SWF already knows who is doing what, who will go help and who has which perk. So those buffs will not help them. And solo-q will get better. For that weak killers can also get good buffs.

The big question is why does SWF continue to grow? It is because Solo has lost any sense of teamwork. It has become a competition for the hatch and pips. That is why people want to play with friends. So your teammates have an obligation towards each other to do objectives, saves, take hits, etc.
It is why, less than great killers, want to face nothing but solos.

Nobody wants to play this game alone this is kind of game made for online gaming with friends like any other multiplayer game every each one of them has option to play with other people and ur here trying to get swf removed I'm sorry but that's never gonna happen i think yall need to accept sometimes u will win and sometimes lose and if it's true that solo's double swfs numbers then you have no reason to be afraid of swf

If you buff solos so they're on the same level as SWF, there's literally nothing for SWF to demand - it'll be things they (we) already have.

Source? According to the last (old) data I saw, solos are about 50% of the playerbase, with the other 50% being some form of SWF.

Solo is fine. If you´d buff them to be on SWF level, then you would have to heavily buff killers.

Solo is basically all I play and it's fine, you just need to get better seriously, I don't want to sound harsh. Even if i lose i always find it more enjoyable anyways, too used to play killer I guess.

I mean indeed some of them are garbage but at the same time part of the game, make those awesome clutch moment even better when it happens, but that's me. I don't swear by SWF never found it so fun.

I am playing killer most of times. When i play survivor, i wanna chill games. But my teammates makes it hard. When i am keeping killer in chase i am waiting repair from them. But they are so slow or not doing anything. But when killer chasing them max 10 seconds to finish them.

I don't think it's that solo queue is inherently underpowered. I think most players are just really, really bad. Good players who are seeking to optimize generally seek out other like-minded players and play in SWF. I say this as someone who plays a ton of solo queue survivor in addition to SWF with comms and without.
Do I die more often in solo queue? Of course. But it's not a slaughterhouse. I often run the killer for multiple gens if my teammates are actually doing them. Losses happen due to atrocious game sense or inefficiency from other players. But games end in 4 outs a lot too in solo queue when teammates actually play the game competently. It's just a mixed bag.
When I play SWF without comms, the escape rate is staggering despite the lack of comms. Granted, it's usually in a group with players from the comp scene, but one would think the lack of comms would be a huge disadvantage if we're going by the usual talking points. We're talking 4 escape streaks in the double digits without comms. It can be done with good game sense and chase mechanics. The thing that kills solo queue teams is that there is usually one or two players with awful game sense or chase mechanics, often both.

In terms of strenght SWF is better than Killer but killer is better than SoloQ

100% solo and it's the best way to play the game. Can be easy, challenging, or straight hell, but the unknowing keeps the horror theme at its peak.

If you are playing at Red ranks and getting paired with Red Killers, you basically need to play swf or play very selfish if you want a chance to live.
Being in Red ranks usually means that you at least play the game enough to know what you are doing. Red rank killers are often pretty good and at that level of play if you get paired with a couple bad teammates it's GG.
The Highest rank of play in DBD without a team is brutal. Skilled Killers, knowledgeable, a small pool of roughly 8 meta perks you will face over and over again.
I usually pip up to Red ranks as survivor then, don't enjoy being there. I don't have dedicated swf friends so I play solo a lot.
People have mentioned optional "in game comms" many times, it might help close the gap between solo and swf but, it would result in harder play for Killers.

That really depends on the person. For me and I'd guess for many other people as well, DbD was a horror game while starting off. Not knowing how strong the Survivorrole can be, being in constant fear of getting caught by the killer and unable to really escape.

Solo can be tough sometimes, but I'd rather have a match that I can get a load of points and have plenty interaction with the killer than a SWF match that ends in minutes and I barely pip.

Its true that swf is definitely better than solo because its far easier. The excuse survivors always use is "i just what to play with friends :(" but they know that swf comms gives them such an advantage its crazy. Only way to fix it would be adding comms to matches and buff killers and rework some of the perks. But something I've noticed is that swf squads are usually bad at looping but just do gens fast.

I will not lie. When my friends online i am playing with them. Because i know when i looping killer, they doing gens. And i know they will not leave me to die on hook. Game is more easy and also more fun. And i dont think that is unfair for killers because we are not using voice chat. Just 4 good survivors playing together and everyone knows what have to do.

What I hate about solo queue is how suffocating it is in terms of perks. I cannot play solo queue without Kindred and/or Bond otherwise I'd go mad. There is no amount of play time a player can have in determining precisely or even with a high possibility of who is going for the save, if the killer is nearby (and you are far away), or what your teammates are doing. Info perks make solo queue more tolerable than it is (and even with info perks it still isn't)
I can't run the perks I want to because I have to use my own perk slots to add to the quality of life to solo queue that should already be in the game in the first place. I can't run perks for fun unless I'm in a SWF. It's sad.
In a SWF I get to run whatever I want, and it feels more free. Too bad I don't have anyone to play with

I am killer main i am destroying swf teams too. Even flashlight squads. I really dont know how they are problem. Only problem about swf for me, gens finishing so fast. That makes me kill them fastly.
@Johnny_XMan also i agree with that. Most of killers good against swf teams. Maybe C & D tier killer have hard times against them. But that is not mean swf is so strong. That is meaning those killers needing buffs.

that's not a counter to comms.
and even in death they can still spectate to provide and additional set of eyes thus gaining MORE information for their team.
So killing 1 will also set you at a disadvantage

Absolutely. Solo is for masochists. I can only play a couple of games before I get so disgusted with either terrible team mates or scummy killers.

Solo q does suck something awful most of the time. Had a match last night in National Laboratory and one of the survivors was hiding the whole time while I was running around hurt doing gens and at the end game he was crouched down behind cases AT THE GATE while I was pulling the lever?? Somehow he was a red rank and I was purple???

If the game is easier for you it becomes harder for the killer. no matter how you look at it.
the real issue here is that compared to Solo, you basically get all survivor aura reading perk base kit as SWF. The game and perk are balanced around the fact survivors lack communication and survivor being unable to rely to much on each other at the same time.
Look at Ds for example. As much as people say it an anti-tunnel perk. its real usefulness is that when you play solo you will get unhook by a low IQ teammate without BT went the killer is near. The correct thing would be for the saver to body block but since he can just run, They made ds so it fair for you who just gonna get tunnel cause of a teammate.
On the killer side, you get punished cause you exploited the opponent team's weakness and tried to use their mistake to your advantage. sure it unfun to tunnel someone but if you got unhooked and no one trying to go for body block you should pay the price for it.
Perks make the game EZ to play on Solo Q for survivors. ani technique the killer use that survivor complain about (tunnel, camp, slug) can be countered by perks. so just use them.
