PLEASE DON'T make Lady Dimitrescu's daughter the new killer.
RE8 is amazing (Please no spoilers) but you cannot say "Iconic killer from RE series" and then put them. Nemesis, Mr X, or literally anyone else would be much MUCH better. And the survivor better be an actual iconic one (Leon...) not saying Ethan would be a bad one, but if you ask me to tell you some iconic characters from the RE series I for one wouldn't say The Big Lady and her daughters and Ethan. I'm sure you know what must of us want BHVR don't mess this up please :) (Leon Claire/Jill or even Chris+Nemesis would be the sickest DLC ever)

Hey look, would I personally prefer it to be a classic RE monster like Nemsis, Mr. X or Birkin? Yes, absolutely, I love those characters dearly and plus, Capcom seems to LOVE to put Nemesis in any sort of crossover that has a need for a Resident Evil villain. That said though, I'll love this chapter no matter what because it's Resident Evil. Despite me liking the older games/remakes the most, I can wholeheartedly say that Capcom is nailing it with the new ones and I love them as well. I would love to see Jack Baker(he was and still is a super fun character) come in if they DO want to pick from the new games but, despite that I don't care too much for them, I wouldn't personally turn my nose up towards Lady D or the daughters.

I really doubt that one of the daughters is a killer. They were very insignificant and were small mini-bosses.
I think it will be a killer from the previous games, not RE8. If it's RE8, though, I would bet on either Miranda or Lady Dimitrescu.

People need to realize, the RE killer is already finished. And the question, which character will be implemented, has been decided months ago, maybe even a year ago.
Once a company publishes a teaser, the product is already finished, just some minor bugfixing and QA left to do.

I agree 100% with you, but like I said, when I think of "iconic" the new ones, as good as they are, don't come to mind. It's all about Leon for me so I am really hoping it will be him

Teaser looked like their weapon, the 5 is gold and same shape as her weapon. Hope you're right

You guys are (maybe) sadly right. I know they won't see me complain and me like "Yeah...Scrap that" so I'm hoping it's older ones, otherwise it's pretty disappointing.

My personal point is they made a RE chapter, and if it's not the iconic old characters, then it's pretty disappointing in my opinion

I loved the daughters and Lady D, all of RE8 villians were amazing.
I would be happy with a RE8 killer and two OG survivors.

They've never done 2 killers at once, only 2 survivors, and no Fiona doesn't count. That's like 1 and 1/3 of a killer.
They could add Nemesis and Lady Dimitri as a power couple.
But for those that just don't like her ( divas always have their haters) they could add Nemesis and Mr. X and still be a power couple.

That's a fair point and, for quite a bit of people they'll agree with that. I'll just say this though, this isn't directed at you but just the community in general. Please, PLEASE don't bombard the forums with nothing but hate if it does turn out to be someone from the new games as a Killer, be it Jack or Lady D and her daughters or whoever. More likely then not, Capcom has given them the characters in which to use and not BHVR asking them to use certain characters.

There's a first time for everything! DLC would be more expensive than the other ones but just imagine how sick it would be to get 2 killers and 2 survs from a very good franchise

If you put it like that then like someone else said it has to be Nemesis aha. I would never complain about a character that's already out (I know that this post almost is that since the killer is probably already done, I just wanted others opinions) and I wouldn't complain about Lady D or her daughters because I think they're really cool, like I said I don't get why they said "iconic" tho

All this speculation could be moot, because it is possible they simply got the rights to do characters from the Resident Evil "movies" alone. We could be looking at Alice and the Licker.

The killer has been finished for at least a month, they aren't going to in a couple of weeks change the killer entirely lol. Pointless post.

No way in hell they only got the movie license, megs scream is in re8, the re movies are god awful, and re is celebrating the games 25 year anniversary. Megs scream Easter egg clearly shows they are working with Capcom, not whatever movie studio has the rights to re.

I just don't think there is any point is fixating or setting one's hopes too high. There are too many potentials. And I don't think ruling out the movies is a good idea. They did comment about the "stars" being out, and that generally implies movies.

Well you're right, we didn't get James for silent hill (still mad about that) but we got Cheryl and PH from the films

I'm surprised a lot of people are even considering the daughters as candidates because of how, well, small their impact is in RE8. Lady Dimitrescu, I get, I understand, I wouldn't mind in the slightest, but the daughters are pretty much, well, useless? And save a bug power for the one true bug killer: Candyman.

After watching the part with the castle I don't think anyone will be the Killer, even Lady Dimitrescu, I mean... did you see the end and what Lady D. did? That's a bit to much for dbd and kinda unfitting. Not gonna say excactly what happened.

Actually I do struggle. Mr X or Nemesis are pretty cool, Wesker from RE 5 is so nice aswell. But the daughters are very nice and hot aswell :3

I'm really hoping it's none of the characters from RE7 or 8. RE8 was fun but does not feel like a resident evil game anymore. The story is just getting beyond stupid now..

Also, it's because Fiona looks like her. When I first saw her I was like that's not a Charlotte, that's a Fiona. Fiona from Shrek.
Basically, she looks like an ogre.
