Can we please punish people more for Holding the game hostage
I just had a Dr game where a SWF sent me to Haddonfield. I won since I have devout hope up my sleeve with undying but when they were on the last-gen all they did was just hide in the basement switching locker to not get crows. One of the nice swf members had to tell me where they were.( the funny thing is that another swf member told me that Haddonfield was killer sided.)
Why don't you get crows for not doing anything. There really needs to be something to prevent this. it is so easy to take the game hostage. They need to make it to where if you have not been doing anything productive(like gens or totem or healing) you get crows. You should just get crows for standing still or In a locker
sorry for ranting but I just so annoyed that its so easy to hold the game hostage

and what would be the punishment for the killer not commiting to chases, and instead chosing to do nothing beyond scare survivors off a 3-gen and running back to the gens to do more nothing?

is this about me since I could not find them if so
if this is in general then I guess there can't be any sense if there are 4 surv left it would be very easy to get the last-gen even if its a 3 gen
if there is 3 surv left then that's the surv fault, they were too eager to get gens done and dupped themselves. plus its still pretty easy to get the last-gen don't if there are 3 surv left
if there are 2 surv left the killer can just chase after one of them, if not the killer is just being a a-hole

The main issue is how do you define productivity? How long do they have to work on a gen or totem to not get crows. It’s too many variables to account for and honestly too easy to cheesy

If all survivors are not doing gens and just hiding for an extended period then that is 100% Holding the game hostage since its extremely easy to do at least one gen (ON HADDONFIELD) it clearly shows a want to not do the objective and just hold the game in place.

Thats crappy to hold the game hostage like that. I do admit that I hate to see the DR! I dont think any killer should be able to just charge, shock then find you. It makes matches incredibly easy for the DR to win. Had a Spirit the other night hold me and the other survivor in the game for over 30 mins slugging us while we were doing the gen to out. He/she would not hook us just kept downing us. Thankfully I recorded it and sent it in, hope something will be done about it.

Well its not like the doctor can down you in ten seconds like spirit can, and lockers do counter him and the perk Calm Spirit hard counters the info part of his power, its just not meta.

I hear ya, it just sucks every single time the match starts with DR he charges, finds everyone then eventually gets the down, hook and moves on to the next one. You cant stay in lockers the whole time and were not even talking about trying to clear out the crazy while being chased lol. I think in months playing every night I won maybe one match with DR and I play with some good players. It is statistically impossible to have that many match losses over extended periods of time and that killer not be OP.

i know and tbh I don't know the numbers but I'm just saying in general

please stop acting like the killer doing their job and the survivors griefing are two sides to the same coin.
the killer has to stop you doing gens. the game literally tells you to do this in the help & tips section.
don't make me tap the sign.

Whoever said haddonfield is killer sided their smoking. I mean what are the odds of survivors winning in haddonfield maybe like 90% of the time. Survivors have to really mess up if you want to win in haddonfield.

so you're saying that killer shouldn't patrol 3 gens because survivors did this situation, also all of the survivors can do one gen and when killer is coming just escape from him (in this 3 gen situation)

I should be known for making dumb, no, terrible decisions. I was the only one alive, so I hid in a tight corner with only one entrance for some reason, and guess who found me. I was laying against a Wraith, and I totally forgot he had "All Seeing" - Blood. And he just stood there, blocking me for more than 20 minutes. It was awful.

It's a tricky situation but there is point where defending a 3-gen can be bannable for the killer.

and Whispers counters survivors trying to hide and take tha game hostage

survivors can't take the game hostage if you have good gamesense and know where to find them.

Yes they can.

how?

A killer can 3-gen from the start of the match regardless.
The survivors can work on the 3 gens not being guarded and then suddenly it's their fault for the 3-gen. (Lmao)
Or they can try to contest the 3 gens and they're still in the same boat of the killer not commiting. Meanwhile the survivors have given the killer an Iridescent Gatekeeper emblem for free! (Lmao)

This isn't holding the game hostage. This is annoying survivors playing immersed. Holding the game hostage is where the game can literally not be progressed, for example: the killer holds the last survivor in a corner even though EGC has NOT started. You can still find these survivors, even though it'll be pain to do so.

i suppose your right but still, it is very annoying and I wish it would be looked at
although I hate when people play like this I just want them to look at it some point just in general

Do they have to do gens or can the donother things like Totems or just plain old luring the killer away?

If killer 3 gen at the start of the match then he's going to lose the game, also there are maps where patroling half of the map is the only way to make pressure, as I said, it's easy to win match while all of the survivors are alive, or even 3 of them
