Although these characters are really cool I don't think they are coming into dbd. the way they would have to come in is if BHVR got like a 6-month notice on RE 8. I mean I guess it's a good business decision for capcom but still, I really doubt it.

    The first show on all of them for the public came on the 1st trailer 10months ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26tay8lMZW4). So there Capcom could easily give information to behaviour regarding the modeling of either Lady D or their daughters.

    Also if you consider that the 3rd trailer and further was focusing a lot on Lady D as a "promo face" to the game itself, they already knew that she was going to be the main villain to the public (even tho she is not in the game).

    People often say that "using a new character could not be benefical for DBD" but they forget that Capcom doesnt need the Behaviour help and on the food chain that is the corporate world, Behaviour is way waaay lower than Capcom, so is reasonable to think that the ones who will decide the character will be mostly in favor of Capcom and not Behaviour. With that in mind, seeing for the Capcom perspective there is too little to no gain from giving up an old character for other game to use since you are releasing and promoting a new game.

    So, in order to promote the game I would say that is very possible to her or her daughters to be the new killer on DBD.

    Hot take, I think it will be Heisenberg since he's a crucial part on all the game (at the start, in the middle and at the end, while lady D, was only in the beginning of the game)

    People will come up with any argument to push for their favorite killer and drag the competition down.

    For example, we don't need another Myers clone with Mr. Hunk, we don't need Deathslinger flesh edition with Nemesis, but we do need lady Dimitri because obvi.

    However I am also a reasonable person, I can be satisfied with a Myers clone.
