Why do some think stealth is bad but loop is good?
I'm just curious because the people who blab about stealth being bad are also the people who just do hamster loops how is that not boring as well.
Against some killers looping can be fun like huntress because they can do things at loops. but killers like clown how have meh chase potential how is that fun?
Clarifying I'm talking about real stealth like in other games where your doing some objective and you have to hide to waste the killers time until they leave or find you and start the chase.

People often mix up being immersed and stealth.
Stealth is great in the right circumstances like when you are on death hook or to deny a killer their hook after being chased for a long time
Being immersed like you said is sitting in the corner doing nothing and that's what people hate.
Also don't stealth around when you haven't been hooked and other are on deathhook. not taking your hookstates drasticly reduces the amount of pressure the killer needs to win.
With 5 hooks there is a big difference between everyone hooked atleast once with one on deathhook and 1 dead and one on deathhook because the killer never found the other 2
When done right stealth is extremly good, but a lot of people don't really do it right

Some people hate stealth because it's simply not an interactive element of the game, there's no interaction between killer or survivor. The chase is the fun part of the game and if both sides, killer especially isn't getting into chases then they probably aren't having fun.
Stealth is important though, I'm not saying it's bad - it has its place in the game 100%.

Because when you've got a lot of time in the game chasing and time with the killer is the most fun you can get out of a match.
Its like F13 where when you were new you did all the objectives and tried to escape, but when you've played a lot you just grab a baseball bat and run at Jason lol.

While your right rage will deny that makeing that a valid strat for only so long then your forced to hide and run dbd has nothing other than entity blockers and a power to deny that

The thing is a lot of survivors like myself don't really care if I win or lose a match, I just want some good chases and to have fun regardless of the outcome.

Because stealthy users are the real gatekeepers lol. The blue hair fengs or the pink hair neas are the ones who want the chase. But they typically don't like to work on gens. While the claudettes who are in the background are the ones doing gens.
