I played in a 4 man swf, the killer was AFK so we were just doing gens and as i was opening the door the game ended and said no network connection (for all of us) and we all got a penalty because of this BS

    I've lost rank 1 simply because of steam maintenance.

    It's still a good thing overall. I'd rather not go back to the era when the first person downed DC'd in half of all matches.

    People don't care about it LOL I mean people make it seem like 5 mins is a bad thing, honestly if the killer is being a jerk face, ill dc then go clean a bit come back and play again, its really not that big of a deal :')

    Amen! I stopped playing for awhile when the DC penalty was turned off for a bit, because I never had complete matches as Killer.

    Player 1 would DC because I found them too fast.

    Player 2 would DC because I found them next (or they were in a SWF with Player 1)

    Player 3 would DC because 1 & 2 DCd

    Player 4 would DC because he was the last in the match.


    And yet, people still cry about the DC penalty, and somehow think having it is somehow less healthy for the game than having all matches end in mass disconnects? 🤷
