Is clown really in a good spot?
I mean the rework gave him a reload buff which is really good the antidote doesn't really do much. it just makes him slightly better at loops( some people don't even use the antidote and still do well btw). The thing is he was already an antilooper. It didn't really change anything about him. he is still a mediocre killer. Donr get me wrong he is not bad but he just isn't as good as I hope the rework would make him. His counterplay has also not changed all it is just pre-dropping pallets, which is a bit boring.
I don't really know what to give him either. his greatest weakness is that he lacks map pressure
can you guys come up with ideas to make him at least good as demo?

What I would see for clown is for the antidote to only remove the tonic effect from the survivors, not speed them as well. But that might be too strong I don't play clown too often

tbh i don't thing that would be too strong since u do have to waste time setting up the antidote with the tonic if you want to combo them

It’s not necessary. If you play clown well survivors will never get the antidotes benefit

He’s average. Good at chase but lacks mobility

Tbh I feel like Clown is in the best state he's ever been, very enjoyable to play as (if you know how to use his anti-loop), but they should honestly try to make him more fun to play against.
He definitely needs more changes (separated bottle count), but all in all, he's pretty underrated and a powerful chase killer in the right hands.

agree I just wish they gave him something more

He's still garbage.

i mean i wouldn't say he is that bad but still what you said does hold some ground

He's still in a weak state imo, his bottles just force survivors to drop pallets early, and his speed bottles don't give much of a speedup

More average than garbage. Great chase but lacks pressure

He's still in the running for one of the worst killers in the game. Now I don't think I'd give him the dead worst spot, but he's definitely down there with some of the worst. Even giving him B tier would be highly generous. Anything below B is completely terrible.

A lot of people rank demo and ghostie in C and I wouldn’t consider either completely terrible

Neither would I, but I wouldn't put them in C tier either. I think that's bad placement on their part.

I've found that any killer, when in the hands of a skilled player, is more than capable. Some may be inherently stronger than others, yes, but I don't think that Clown is especially bad. I've escaped against him, been slaughtered by him, failed to get any kills with him, and gotten kills with him. Not every killer needs to be especially complicated or tricky.

They should just combine the two kinds of bottles. It feels like old Doctor.
Noone talks about how weak Doctor is anymore.

The introduction of Antitode bottles was lazy, yes. But, it was actually a very effective buff to his power for it's simplicity.
It allows Clown to counter the 'shift-w' style people often use. It also allows Clown to not be too hurt by instant pallet drops too. (Which by the way is not Clown counter-play, that is a lazy play that can be used against all killers which do not have insta-breaks and Nurse). Clowns counter-play consists of forcing bottles to be used in areas you have no intention of going to or looping, good positioning, reactionary & manipulative movement in loop tiles.
The lack of map pressure is just something that majority of killers suffer with. That's a core mechanic issue and not something killers should be buffed or have reworks to deal with. The core gameplay needs adjusting to fix issues like that
