Anyone else really not want Mr. X or Nemesis?
Like idk both of those two have no personality and both are really boring with no real horror aspects compared to some of the other monsters from the RE series. Hell even Lady Dimitrescu has more horror elements than both of them. Its very clear they're meant to be more for action games than horror elements imo. I think Lisa Trevor is a better option but realistically first gen Tyrant is the other option.

Hard disagree with the idea that they lack horror aspects, but honestly if I could pick? Yeah, Lisa Trevor, Birkin, RE1 tyrant or a licker would be my choice. Still, I love big fedora man and he seems like a very likely pick

I'm in the same boat, I don't really think Nemesis or Mr. X fit in this game.
In my opinion there are vastly better options for a killer.

They have far more horror elements than Lady Dimitrescu, it's not even close. Don't know how many times I've seen ppl say they wouldn't run away from her because she's hot or whatever.

I feel they cant really have smart powers tbh. Like they cant just give nemesis a rocket launcher and mr X doesnt really do much except punch things and be stronk.

I don't care. I just want a killer with a strong (not like overpowered but you know b-a tier), fun power and a survivor with interesting perks.

What do you mean? in Resident Evil 3 we see him get looped around in the same building and even stabbed by some rock lying on the floor Decisive Strike. He is a perfect fit.

Honestly, I just really want to play as a Tyrant or Tyrant-like character. The kind of RE villain who was nigh-unkillable and doggedly pursued the protagonists throughout the game they starred in.
Whether that's the relentless and imposing Mr. X (RE2) or Nemesis (RE3),
The persistent and perseverant Jack Baker (RE7) or Ustanak (RE6),
Or the monstrous Lisa Trevor (RE1) or G-Birkin (RE2).
Haven't had the chance to play RE8 yet, so I'm not sure if Lady D is also truly Tyrant-like (from the spoilers I've seen though, she probably isn't). Personally, I'm not keen on bringing in any RE8 characters yet because of how new they are.

I think I'd like Jack the most, his personality was great so I feel he'd be the best pick if they actually got the voice actor to do some lines for the game.

i disagree with them having no horror elements personally i would rather have something like the mold from RE7 or the Licker i mainly want something that is iconic to the series but since i want more killers that are aren't as humanoid those would be my ideal choices

This describes almost all of them. Jack was near unkillable Nemesis is near unkillable and nemesis were near unkillable.

Jokes asside, i don´t really see the lady d as new killer. She is not iconic enough. The old RE games had several movies. While the new ones are barely known.

Oof, the movies. Nothing but crappy fanfiction from Paul 'What Shi-' Anderson.
Mila's character was a Mary Sue to the tenth degree, and it was clear Paul only threw in anything he saw in the video games without thinking about the story. (Las Plagas in Movie...3? Was it? When before it was normal zombies?)
Paul W.S. Anderson is a hack, and those movies are pure Mary Sue fanfic garbage.

I just think they'd be boring killers to play. I'd much rather something more fast-paced, which the Dimitrescu Daughters would definitely be, or maybe Wesker.

Yes but Paul's were not MEANT to be trashy. He really felt he was writing good stories. In which only his wife could save everyone, and even characters from the games are utterly useless unless Mila's character is around to lead the way.
As zombie movies; they are entertaining.
As Resident Evil movies; they are pure & utter Mary Sue fanfic garbage that insults RE fans.
Edit: And he's writing the Monster Hunter movie, where Mila is once again the main star. So expect more crapping on fans of the game.

I like RE but I'm def not a hardcore fan. I am excited no matter who the killer or survivor is ^^
If I had to pick I like Nemesis or the vampire ladies. Nemesis is kinda spooky looking.

The only reason Lady D doesn't fit in this game is just because of her height. There are work around's to that though.
She definitely isn't my first pick for an RE killer either, but I'd still take her over Neme or X.

Springtrap is a better choice than Nemesis
Although, Mr. X might have his moments, so he not exactly a hard pass, more of a no because of how limited they are with power and gameplay choices.

Well I mean just look at em. Unstoppable killing machines who take countless bullets. Both of them are literally introduced with explosions and fire with Mr. X's being the helicopter crash and Nemesis being Jill's apartment burning down. Nemesis wields a rocket launcher and Flamethrower Mr. X is incredibly fast and uses brute strength. The way they're both killed with Mr. X being a rocket launcher and Nemesis (In the remake) being a full on super powered Laser blast. They're both just meant for action packed games rather than horror esp the horror DBD has.

At least with Lady D is an unstoppable killer who persues you through dark corridors and eventually does so solely for vengeance for killing her daughters and has a real personality. Mr. X just kinda chases Leon and Claire for pretty much no reason. Like he had no reason to chase Claire through Raccoon city or Leon but he does and its just kinda weird imo. I get the whole "To take out survivors." thing but imo that doesn't help. The scene in RE8 where its JUST you and Lady D in tight compact hallways is pretty damn freaky and definitely gets that feeling of being helpless more than Nem or Mr X did.
