With Legion out, what is the point of Pig’s special attack?

The Pig can down people with her Ambush and can sneak up on people while crouched.

Pig has zero terror radius, and can down people faster because her attacks are more conventional, it seems.
Legion seems to have a harder time of taking people down directly with the power needing to hit a person upwards of 4 times to deplete their bar, and drop them.
It's great to close the gap, and chase, but hitting them enough to deplete their bleed out is near impossible. The idea seems to be to zoom around and hit multiple people.0 -
The way it looks to me, Legion looks like a better Pig. Simply when you look at the things they do.
They are both ambush-based Killers with tools to slow down the game due to their slower pace playstyle. However, Pig needs to commit to using a slow, poor vision stealth so she can get the opportunity to use an ambush attack which has a slow startup AND a sound cue. Her method of slowing the game down requires downing a Survivor to place the trap on, and then being at the mercy of RNG. To make it worse, she has limited traps.
Legion retains his full speed and vision when looking for Survivors. He may not have zero terror radius, but he has a reduced one, and all he needs to do is see a Survivor before he can start using Frenzy. Whereas Ambush has slow start-up and isn't useful outside a relatively weak pallet mind-game, Frenzy looks like it's a nightmare to escape from. Even if it takes a few more hits to down a Survivor, the down looks damn near guaranteed with just enough commitment. A single hit is all it takes to put a Survivor into a healing job for a good while, healing the status effect and then healing into Healthy status.
Tldr-
Ambush is slow and loud, Crouch is slow and hinders ability to see. Frenzy is fast, unloopable.
Traps require a down, are RNG based and are finite. Deep Wound is infinite and only requires a single hit for great stalling potential.

Simply compare their tools:
To engage with Survivors, Ambush is slow, has a loud sound cue, is punishing on whiff. Frenzy is fast, unloopable, no whiff punishment. The fast speed of Frenzy means Legion does not need zero terror radius to get a good starting engagement, whereas Pig must use her slow crouch to get said starting engagement, with poor vision to compliment.
To stall the game, Traps require a down, are RNG based and are finite. Deep Wound only requires a single hit to come into effect and is infinite.0 -
but isn't deep wound pretty easily remedied by a short timed "mend"?
where as traps keep survivors from escaping and can only be removed at a js box0 -
What could be the point...? Let's see...
MAYBE ACTUALLY HURTING AND DOWNING THE SURVIVOR, WHICH LEGION CAN'T DO?

Pig moves at a faster speed than legion in a shorter distance. She can close down and get hits in shorter loops. Legion needs a serious buff to him rn.

I like Pig's stealth attack, especially when you use the add-ons stacked that reduces the crouch / attack time.
