How many of the active dbd players have over 1000 hours?
Of course only behaviour knows the answer, but what is your estimation? If active would mean they log in almost every week, how much percent of the playerbase are they?

Id say it's likely maybe 10-15% and i still think its possible its less.

I'd go for 5-6%.

Less than 5% would be my guess.

10%...might be less.

On Xbox it tell you how much time you play the game but it goes to say then you're then minutes.
I have 126 days and 21 hours (I will not include minutes)

Maybe 10-12%

I'm very curious for the answer to this question. Perhaps a poll is in order?

10%, perhaps? It is hard to say.

It feels like DBD have a fanbase that just keeps on playing, so probably quite a lot. I did not think I had played the game that much since I have played less than 2 years, but learning you can see your playtime on Xbox I noticed that I have over 3300 hours 😯

Having an account on dbd forum is by itself a massive bias in selection, such a poll won't be representative.

You can find out using math if you go to DBD leaderborads ( https://dbd.onteh.net.au/ ) select to sort players by playtime and scroll down through 111 139 players that are recored there, stopping when you get to a first player with 999h.
It shows only players with steam though so for consoles you'll never know.

Do you check other Xbox players hrs in your lobby before the match? I only ask because I do, just to get a rough idea of who I'm playing with

We can start counting!
I do so that's one! :D

I have around 2,000 hours, I play every other day. The reason behind the hours is because I played DBD for the past 3 years! 😁

No I don't

I'm not sure about people playing every day, but for me, I have about 1.6k on PC, 500 on PS4, and 100 on the switch.

Yh i think even the official surveys are not representative for that. But i would really want to know how many pick veteran in this survey.

Somewhere around 5-10% I'd say

30% at least.

Make it two!

Wow really low percentages there.Over only 1k hours?30-40%.
Over 3k hours? maybe 5%.

I'd say less than 5% as a guess. I think it's less than most people think.
Would be really cool if a dev would pop in and give us that info.

A very small percentage. Dead by Daylight is on game pass for Xbox, so I can imagine many people have tried it, but sadly it's a game that takes a lot of time to learn and grow to like. I've spoken to many people who've said that dbd is bad, and I'll check their time played and see they have less than one day of play time, because I think that when you start the game it's too confusing, and many people are likely to give it up rather than give it some time.
