Make the BP gain from WGLF and BBQ&Chilli part of the base game
As the title says:
- Survivors should always receive a 25% BP bonus after a game for every survivor they safely unhooked, (or uncaged), up to 100% bonus BP.
- Killers should always receive a 25% BP bonus after a game for every unique survivor they managed to hook, (or cage,) up to 100% bonus BP.
Like pretty much all changes to dbd, this wouldn't fix the core issue of the game's grindy-ness. But it would help band-aid it until the BP system is overhauled into something more player friendly.
Does anyone have arguments against this change?

I would love this, anything to reduce the heavy grind.
I literally run WGLF and BBQ every game, so it would be nice to have a different perk option for once.

Honestly, they should make some sort of in game shop where you could spend the BP on the items, add ons and perks you want after you prestige or so. It's 2 birds with one stone: prestiging your character now has a purpose and being able to select what you want saves a lot of BP, rather than having to go through millions of bloodwebs before you find the perk you want. They could make the prices of the shop a bit higher so the bloodweb still serves its purpose of getting cheaper stuff.
Could even go further than that and make it so the prices in the shop get reduced with each prestige. Prestiging wouldn't be such a pain anymore because you'll be able to get your perks, add ons and items at a reduced cost and much faster. And now you're incentivized to keep prestiging.
Idk, in my eyes it's just a missed opportunity because they could make like a personality selling you all this stuff at the market in a similar way they did with the Archives and the Observer for the extra lore as well.

This idea has my support!
On top of that, we’d see how many people actually use bbq for aura reading. It would become more of a niche perk for speed killers like Billy, but then free up a slot for Killers like Hag who only use it for Bloodpoints.

I would double the bloodpoints gain of every score event and the max you can get (32,000 to 64,000)

Sure would be nice, that way I could get rid of BBQ and replace it with shadowborn as my useless 4th perk slot. Win-win.

Good idea but personally I'd rework how prestige works and rarity getting a discount by each prestige level, as an example...
Prestge I get common add-ons 40% less than their original price, 25% less in uncommon add-ons.
Prestige II get common add-ons 60% less than their original price, 40% less in uncommon add-ons, 20% less in rare add-ons.
Prestige III get common add-ons 80% less than their original price, 60% less in uncommon add-ons, 40% less in rare add-ons, 30% less in very rares and 15% less in ultra rares
This will reduce the grind by a giant amount and make prestige more rewarding
Also: Change the amount of BP per match at 50 K BP, give more BP per interaction. I think I should create a thread with all the ideas I am having.

Firstly this, and I would change the requirement for BP bonuses on Survivor.
- Barbecue gives you Tokens for doing your Objective, which is hooking.
- WGLF gives you Tokens for doing a side Objective. Unhooking and protecting your team.
I would change the effects of WGLF to following, similar to how BBQ gives extra BP for doing your Objective.
- Every Time a generator is completed, gain a 25 % stackable bonus on BP up to a maximum of 100 %. (For Survivor)
- For every Survivor on their first hook, gain a 25 % stackable bonus on BP up to a maximum of 100 %. (For Killers)
And tie that to a base mechanic same as Barbecue. In my opinion, it should be quite easy to get the maximum bonus.
We would probably have to buff the 2 Perks a bit because to be honest, everyone uses them for the extra BP and not excactly for the effects.
BBQ and Chili:
- Increase the Aura duration from 4 to 6/7/8 seconds.
WGLF:
- Increase healing speed by 100 % on dying Survivors. (stays the same)
- Taking a protection hit grants the Survivor you proteced the "Endurance" Status Effect for 6/7/8 Seconds.

While the grind is one problem, the randomness of the bloodweb is another in my opinion. Hence why I believe a shop would be a good idea because it eliminates the inconsistency, but it also tackles the grind. A BP increase then wouldn't be so necessary because you'd be able to get the stuff you want anyways.
Like, the addition of a shop just gets rid of so many problems. A shop is also a durable idea which would prevent further problems down the line regarding the grind because you'll always get what you want relatively fast.

Yes please. I'm working on P3'ing both sides but remember the teachable grind for every character all too well.. this game is way too brutal for new players or those who haven't sunk hundreds of hours.

Yup. The perks themselves are decent enough on their own. The BP bonus could be lifted from them and applied to everyone all the time.
