Monster Killers
I seriously enjoy monster killers, and I certainly hope we get more like Demo. I'm imagining the Entity creating their own monster to serve for them. Like, a spider looking creature or something

We do have a lot of human / humanoid killers. It would be nice to have some kind of freaky monster or Eldritch horror in the mix.

I have and always will advocate for more monsters in DBD. I just feel like you could go insanely bonkers with their power if you wanted to.

Yeah I agree. As above said, there's a lot of humanoid killers. Hopefully some get added next year or even next chapter (21)

Agree 100%
I find monster type killers way scarier personally. Not to mention if they're more willing to it opens up a whole slew of other licensed killers they could tap into, not to mention a plethora of original ideas as well. Keeping to just humanoids is limiting them unnecessarily.

They have this rule against putting anything that isn't at least humanoid in the game, because of how the game is set up with windows and loops and such.
I think that rule is BS and they should add whatever lumpy eyeball teeth monsters they want into the game

Yes more monsters please!!!
I would like to see more creatures. Giant Snake, Giant Spider, Wolf, an Abomination Chimera kinda thing.

Yeah, BHVR would probably have to update their engine to be able to handle non-humanoid killers, but it would really open the floodgates for a lot more unique killers.

Even humanoid characters could still be monstrous, like the Blight. There's the alleged Flatwoods Monster, Cthulhu, the Jersey Devil, etc. Not saying that they'd need to use those characters specifically (Cthulhu would have to be at least slightly resized, LOL) but just pointing out examples of how they could still use the same basic humanoid structure yet make wild monsters with them.
Though I myself am also hoping for killers like Carpenter's Thing, Cronenberg's Fly, some kind of skittering spider monster, etc. They could really do some horrific stuff.

This is why I always say alien for licence. The map would be insane, similar model to demo and abilities have many possibilities. Non liscene I always say a werewolf, imagine hearing that howl or sprint at you on all 4s lol

I think I remember the devs saying years ago the reason most of their killers are humanoid is because of physics. If something is a different shape than another killer it may not interact properly. Like there could be a spot where a humanoid killer could fit through but a monster one might get stuck on something. This was all before they introduced Demo. They also said they would never add a clown killer because real people are afraid of clowns. So who knows.

While I definitely want more monster killers, I believe the main reason is because all the killers use the same animation Rig. I think awhile ago they said something along the lines that making a new rig would be very time consuming? I don't know how it works, but I think that was the issue. Demo is the most monstrous killer we have, but he's still humanoid in shape. So is Oni, Blight...

The xenomorph on the Nostromo would be amazing. Imagine a killer who could crawl through vents that survivors couldn't access.
The devs actually said that they'd never add a clown because coulrophobia is an actual thing? That's interesting.

Well, Resident Evil will hopefully be introducing a monstrous killer as one of the tyrants, but I too would love more monstrous killers. Some monster-like killers that could work well:
• The Xenomorph from "Alien"
• Werewolf from "An American Werewolf in London"
• Dren from "Splice"
• Big Daddy from "Bioshock"
• Scarlet from "Silent Hill: Homecoming"
• Onoskelis from "Agony"
There are many, many options. These are just 6 random bipedal monsters that could serve as killers, and that's not even counting original ideas - whether based on existing monsters of fiction or a new creature entirely.

At first I was against Alien. (Not a fan of sci-fi) But, at this point in the game's life I think they'd be a perfect fit

That's completely fair. They don't have to have a brand new rig to make them special (it would be very welcoming if they did) but, a humanoid monster like Demo is just fine by me
