so that rank reset bug...
being reset from k8 to k19 made me feel terrible, but then i started being given... you know, r20 survivors in matchmaking
and besides the occasional higher rank person who insults me for being rank 19 (which i report because, y'know, that's ugly) i'm actually having a grand old time going easy on people and having them "go easy" on me in return.
i've had nothing but fun matches back to back where the survivors have been so easy that i've just gotten to meme around with them. and for the first time in my life, when i've let multiple survivors escape... one of them came back and gestured for me to hook them, letting me get a kill in a match that i very blatantly threw.
for context, two of jane's teammates were on hook during EGC and i'd found her. she put her medkit down, so i just teabagged on it with ghostface. she went and unhooked her team and they all escaped, then she came back and beckoned me, then pointed at the hook.
this is the first time i've ever actually seen a survivor let themself die to play nice after i've played nice with them.
i have yet to see a survivor let themself die after their team's stomped me, but hey, there's always the possibility, right?
anyway... seems to have been a blessing in disguise. i'm having tons of fun. i wish i could manually reset my rank! i'd do it way often.

They need to fix it immediately because I'm tired of getting garbage teammates even though I wait 5+ minutes to join a solo lobby anyway.

It's not that rare that survivors give blatantly friendly killers a kill when they either seem bad or aren't taking things seriously; I've seen this aplenty as both killer and survivor over the years, and often am that survivor, tbh.
I've always found that it's very rare that I can't go easy on survivors, even at red rank so I can't relate that much outside of the time that I was much more new to the game, tbh.
This bug is crazy but IDK if bhvr even have the logs to fix it...we never know with this dev company tbh. xD

No, he is right. I loop the Plague for 3 mins, no gen done. I get caught, Claudette unhooks me and desperatly tries to heal me while fully infected. While on hook, I observed Dwight crouching on the other side of the map. This is as survivor.
As killer, I had only one match in which I didn't get a 4k. It was because someone DC.

I had an actual baby Dwight on my team. Default clothes, rank 20, level 1 prove thyself and nothing else. He went down to feral frenzy :(

The problem with Survivor at lower ranks is once you get to rank13 or so and lasts until rank6 or 7, when the teammates are bad or/and inexperienced enough to be a drag but you still need them to escape because the Killer is not as loopable and jukeable for 10 minutes like those in lower ranks but they also resort to facecamping to secure Kills if the match goes bad. Yes, that happens at red ranks too but in that bracket is much more prevalent.

This is so cute ;w;!! I tend to let everyone escape after they've reached second hook because I view myself as the pit stop between matches where you can have fun and practice some stuff before we all say goodbye at the gates lol! If I have a nice killer or someone really struggling as killer, I almost always sacrifice myself and leave my item. I appreciate good players and also players who can joke around for a bit <3 I'm happy to see you're having fun again as killer!

It wasn't now, but I remember very clearly 1 baby dwight.
I was playing pig, he had a rbt on.
I noticed he was pretty bad at the game, so I mostly focused on everyone else.
one time, I went to hook someone in the basement, and I saw him hiding besides a locker there. (well, attempting to hide... imagine this
but with dwight)
so I pretended I didn't see him and left.
he eventually died to the rbt in the basement... I don't think he ever left it.
