So you too have very opposite opinions on the new killer speculation. Yords say its not lady D but supercattree says she is the next killer
well one question for yord: what if it was lady D what would be your reaction?
and for you supercattree what it wasn't Lady D what would your reaction be?
time for my view on this debate.
IMO as much as I like Lady D I think I'm on Yords side. she isn't the biggest character in the whole franchise. Plus we were told that BHVR works on the killer in a year advance which ya RE 8 was being worked on by then but Capcom didn't know she would be this popular so why would they give the rights to use LAdy D to BHVR. Plus the argument that it would be a good marketing strategy for Capcom doesn't really hold up since why would Capcom need help marketing RE 8 when they probably have one of the biggest games in the world.

Yeah, I have written so many posts and comments about why Lady Dimitrescu will be the new killer, so all my hard work and speculation would be for nothing

If the ever so robust lady Dimitrescu herself made it into the game, I would honestly be disappointed.
She has already been seen in another game, she has a whole game where she is present for a good portion of it. It wouldn't feel new or surprising.
And like I have already said (and the same goes for every boss or other iconic character from any RE game), you would take this godlike being and allow them to be stopped by blocks of wood. It would totally undermine their level of power. I mean have you seen RE 8 yet? I don't want to spoil it, but you can definitely see what I mean when I say "godlike" or at least a mass monstrosity. That is the most notable reason lady D will not be in this game because BHVR knows that.
The reason demogorgon fits better is because he at least can be dealt with like in stranger things, although it was only Eleven who took him down, but still. Demo dog still fits in better than any RE boss.

Wdym, new or surprising? That applies to every RE killer, they appear in their own games. If Mr. X or Nemesis comes in, they literally have 2 games where they appear in. But I guess they can go with other RE characters, although I don't think they will go with a RE 7 or another character from another game

I want something unexpected, not something that has already been seen. Lady Dimitrescu just wouldn't really interest me as much as something completely unexpected would.

An entirely new killer that no one even knew was coming to the game. A killer that no one had even expected at all.

I can't agree with you on that ,it would be such a waste and missed opportunity to not add the most iconic monster in any franchise, if they added the original T-001 would you truly be happy he's really scary don't get me wrong, but essentially he would just be an M1 killer (sigh)but I can see them probably giving him a claw dash does that sounds fun to you.

A "good portion" of the game? Did we play the same game? Lady D was criminally underused for how hyped up she was before the game's release and didn't get nearly enough development.
(Tbh the entire game felt like that - a mess of different ideas that worked fine on their own but altogether it felt scrambled and rushed. Still a fun game tho.)

Lady Dimitrescu was killed in almost a start of game, they just can't do thinks like that maan. She was best think in the game, and still not enough. I've be glad if she is a new killer, but still. It's RE chapter dude, RE chapter. And it's big university of monstrous zombies. Guys do u still remember? Zombies and stuff.)

lol sorry, I have only really seen about the first 3 hours of gameplay out of like 12 I think. I forgot how quick she was killed off.
