I usually have it at a low volume because it can obstruct my hearing in the game and be distracting. But I like having it play

only when i am waiting for a match as soon as it begins loading I turn the music of as in a game like dbd where sound is extremely important for both sides, distracting music can make the difference between a win or a loss

I may do it with other games, but not with DbD. Sound is super important for both sides, and while you can still play the game with some chill bg music, it could potentially make you mishear or not hear at all an important sound cue which could ruin your game. Some sounds are very subtle, yet critical. Like a Myers breathing on your neck.

I also like to keep the game's atmosphere untouched; even if it's not a "scary" game per se, I'd feel less involved with the current match if I'm listening to some tunes while sacrificing survivors, or being sacrificed by a Killer.

I listen to music while playing DBD sometimes, depending on my mood. Unfortunately that isn't an option so I won't vote.

Goddamn it, I mis-clicked. I meant to hit "Never".

I just find music too distracting while I play. Hearing slight survivor sounds like grass moving, breathing, and footsteps is a very big part of killer, and having music playing simply prevents me from hearing that.

Sometimes I might throw on some Ice Nine Kills (horror-themed lyrics) and play Freddy to farm BP.

When playing DBD? Absolutely not. It's one of those games where sound is a mjor part of the game, listening out for survivor actions and perks eg Discordance and Tinkler.

I already have hard time to hear most of the voices so with the music it would be even harder. So I prefer not to listen music while playing.

No, at least definitely not while playing DBD. I often pay attention to sounds, especially as killer.

I’ll maybe listen to something while in queue, a lobby, or loading in. Otherwise, I try to limit distractions, especially since sound is a major element of the game.

Yeah, I usually just play music for more background noise. I don't usually play it really loud

Hell yeah! If you're not too serious about winning the match, listening to YOUR NUMBERS UP while playing GHOSTFACE is just SO much fun. I've had some of my best Freddy(i know) matches with AMERICAN NIGHTMARE on repeat lol. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

I only listen to it in the lobbies and loading screens since I rely pretty heavily on audio tracking.
