Survivor perk tier list (4.7.2)
There are a lot of perks so this is a pretty hard list to make. What are your thoughts about this? I'd love to see any agreements or disagreements people have.
I might do a killer perk tier list as well at some point.

You’re sleeping on Repressed Alliance
Perks really good when facing a killer with either pop or ruin, which is most killers

Personally I don't think DS is S tier anymore which is a good thing imo. Also while Adrenaline comes in clutch sometimes it is pretty common for it to either never get used or it gets used but you don't get any value from it so I dont think it belongs in S.

Well if the killer has Ruin then using the perk will be bad for the survivors because the gen will be regressing as long as the gen is blocked. It really only works well againt Pop and even then it just encourages the killer to chase you immediately and you won't be able to work on the gen for a while so it potentially saves the killer about as much time using Pop on the gen as it does blocking it with Repressed Alliance.

I still think DS is as effective as it used to be, it's just not abuseable anymore. I still use DS and can get some value out of it. Adrenaline is weird because it only activates once at the end but it's effect can be so powerful that if the whole team has Adrenaline, it completely turns the tables for the survivors when the last gen is done.

Repressed alliance stops gen regression when active, so it does counter ruin for the 30 seconds the gen is blocked.
If you’re a solo player as well you can use it to block you’re team from 3 genning

Regression is paused while the gen has entity blockers. Same with thrilling tremors. Confirmed by the devs.

Wait it does? It doesn't say that in the perk description and I never use that perk so I didn't know. Even then I'm still only going to put the perk C at best.

When did they say this?

It was answered on these forums a while back.

Poised is C-tier. It can be useful and is better then the other perks in D-tier, if you dont count repressed alliance.

Don’t think I’ve ever heard tbh.
Poised activates at random times and is outclassed by many other perks.

Whut, Repressed Alliance is amazing in higher ranks

I dont know your ranking criteria, but wouldnt the same arguments make dark sense D-tier instead of C-tier?

I really don't see the Repressed Alliance hype.
Well at least Dark Sense let's you see the killer which is way better than not leaving scratch marks for a few seconds imo.

Is this based on anything in particular? I.e. Is this list assuming that you're in a swf of at least 2 people? Is it a list aimed at solos?

@TheGannMan Repressed Alliance is used in competitive tournaments and by highly coordinated SWFs. I was using it before the rank reset shot me from 1 to 9. It counters a good part of the gen regression/utility meta:
- Ruin: You can block gens if the killer is coming or if another higher priority (rescue) arises.
- Tinkerer: High mobility killers are very common in high ranks and Tinkerer is often sided with Ruin. RA prevents multiple Tinkerere activations due to the effects of Ruin and disrupts a lot of the killer snowball.
- Pop: self-explanatory. A powerful trend among killers is to use both Pop + Ruin for the different stages of the game and RA can be used effectively against both.
The first game in this video has some excellent examples:
It may not be an S tier, but no way it's a D.

Seeing the killer is really situational imo. Well, losing scratchmark is it, too. But there are many perks which are do the same so much better that you never should run dark sense. So i dont see the difference with poised. Both can be useful, but there is not really a reason to run them.

I guess I could be sleeping on that perk a little bit. I just never use it or go against it and it just seems bad but I guess it could have some uses.
The thing is with Poised, you never know if you are getting value out of it while with Dark Sense, you can clearly see the killer so I guess that factor there makes it easier to put one over the other.

I think with 5 gens, there should be atleast one gen which pops when you are in a chase or you use it to rotate with sprintboost after you complete a gen. But yh it depends on the line of sight blocker and can be useless.
I just think that seeing the killer is not always that valuable and you have only 5 chances. I used object often last week and the aura reveal was many times useless, but with object it is not a problem bc you get it more often.

It's mainly for newer players. It can help with knowing which pallets are up but it's not a necessity if you have game sense.
That is true.

Windows of opportunity carries me on indoor maps and makes me realize maps like Lery’s and Midwich can have some really nasty tiles spawn for survivor

Overall this is a good tier list. There's some things I disagree with like repressed but everyone already said that.
This isn't directed toward you but can somebody explain why adrenaline is seen as this very good perk. I personally dislike it and I understand the pros and cons but I don't see it as dh and iron will tier. I've just always felt like thay but never heard the why

Adrenaline is the worst exhaustion perk, only able to use it once is a waste of a perk slot, and it only actually helps one in 15 or so games, i cant see it beaing in s tier

I think you gave Stake Out not enough credit and Self-Care too much credit imo. I've seen too many people use self-care and it ending up killing their team because they cared more about slowly healing themselves over objectives/safe saves. Fast Track I'd personally put a little higher in the B Tier or even at the bottom of the A Tier, but I can live with the decision because it's still in the B Tier and not one of the lower ones. Stake Out is pretty good as well, you're kinda sleeping on it's ability to know if you're even on the edge of the terror radius (when it's too quiet to hear) and giving you a great skill check for every token gained. Sure it's not active against killers in chase or without a radius, but it's still good.
