Devs plz optimize console
It’s so annoying being screwed over for not being on PC. Why should I be punished for just playing on console. I just had a game where I got screwed over by so many frame drops and the stupid amount of hits that got aim dressed. Plz devs make the console experience better it’s not fair to be at a disadvantage for just playing you game on console. I shouldnt get screwed over by garbage aim dressing. I shouldn’t get a massive frame drop for just being hit by a killer with sloppy.

Sorry man, we've been asking for optimization for 5 years and they've yet to make it better, it's even gotten worse for some maps/killers. It's rediculous how bs and game losing the frame drops are but they don't care

Just a nitpick... XBOX and PS were released in June 2017... so almost 4 years now - not 5.
I honestly don't think it's not that they "don't care" it's just that the spaghetti code of DBD is not easy to optimize for consoles. Then again I am not a coder and wouldn't have a clue how to optimize DBD.

What console are you on ? I had a PS4 pro had a few issues now and then with sloppy & framklins would cause drops, now I’m on a ps5 havnt had a problem, if it’s the old one Shame to say it but it might be time for a upgrade

I think from a companys point of view it makes now no sense anymore to do something about "old" consoles. Maybe they have something in the work, but if not, they wont start doing something now.

isn't dbd running bad on an 8 years old console understandable? I mean cmon, the ps4 has been released in 2013.
The new ps5/xbox series s/x can run this game a lot better (i'm pretty sure it could run dbd at 120fps, but the game is capped at 60 by default)

Unfortunately I think BHVR is perfectly content to just run out the clock.
Maybe at some point they had planned on making good on their promise to optimize consoles or maybe it was always BS but it's clear they have no intention of fixing the Xbox One/PS4 issues and are hoping the complaints will just fade away as people upgrade to the Series X/PS5 instead.

No, it isn't understandable - at all !
I'm playing damn Destiny 2 (on XB1) which has better graphics, a million particle and light effects and stupidly fast paced pvp matches yet I've NEVER experienced a single damn FPS drop.
Not - even - one - single - time!
Meanwhile DBD -a game with slow movements, very few effects and PS2 graphics- freezes for up to 2 full seconds everytime a status effect occurs.

oh well that sucks then, i just assumed that an 8 years old rig can't run new games that good.
Probably because you guys are stuck on ultra graphics and that ######### eats fps.

To be fair, BHVR could release Jason with Candyman with Nemesis with The Flying Spaghetti Monster with Slenderman with FNAF with Pinhead with Chucky with My Little Pony with "Insert your personal wet dream killer" and it wouldn't matter all that much if the game is running so badly that you can't play it...

I play on the Series X and the only disadvantage i feel i have is not being able to have mouse and keyboard. And i do feel like MY dead hard only fails when i am playing against pc killers. Cross progression needs to come to console!!!
