The Resident Evil chapter bet (last chance to join)
couple things.
1- this is just for fun.
2- this works on the honor system.
Every day, almost, we get a new discussion about how and/or why it should or shouldn't be X character to join the fog.
that's great and all, but let's spice things up a bit.
place your bets on who is gonna join.
name the survivor(s) and name the killer.
If you are wrong, you must play a game of killer, with the killer you hate playing the most, without perks and addons and get a ruthless killer.
Unless you are not on red ranks, in which case you gotta get merciless.
If you are correct, you get to point at everyone who was wrong in this discussion and go
and that's basically it.
You are obviously not required to record your match, but a printscreen showing that you did it should be easy to get.
For my bet, I have this one going
but in that I never said who I think is gonna join, so I'll do this one too.
RE is a special case where 2 survivors is possible so my bet is
Jill and/or Leon for survivor(s).
Nemesis for killer.
Clown is the killer I like the least, so I'll play him twice if I lose both bets.

I'd like it to be Lady Dimitrescu and Ethan Winters HOWEVER my bet is on Nemesis and Jill.

I do think that legendary skins are very likely for various other characters from the series too though. Especially Nemesis, Jack Baker, Chris, Leon, Claire, and Ada. TBH I'd also love some cosmetics that reference Hunk, Wesker, and Krauser.

I bet its either Mr. X or Nemesis.
Its not Lady D aka boring af.
Its more likely to get a completly normal Zombie killer than Lady D. She reperesnts NOTHING, she was only used as a opening to hype up the player base without spoiling too much of the game already, thats why she was one of the first encounters and had that less screentime.
For survivors its kinda hard to say.
But i doubt its someone like Chris and if its someone like him its a young version of them.
(Everyone who says its Mia because Ethan is too badass, please stop. Have you played RE7? Do you know her story?

My educated guess from everything I have seen and my experience with the franchise, I'm going with 2 survivors and 1 killer. 2 survivors makes so much sense since most of the games have some sort of duo. Resident Evil 0 Remake has Billy Coen and Rebecca Chambers. Resident Evil has either Jill Valentine and Barry Burton, Chris Redfield and Rebecca Chambers, or Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield. Resident Evil 2 has either Leon Scott Kennedy and Ada Wong, Claire Redfield and Sherry Birkin (obviously she won't be in it), or Claire Redfield and Leon Scott Kennedy. Resident Evil 3 has Carlos Oliveira and Jill Valentine. Code Veronica has Claire Redfield and Steve Burnside. Resident Evil 4 has either Leon Scott Kennedy and Ada Wong or Ashley Graham and Leon Scott Kennedy. Resident Evil 5 has Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield and Sheva, Resident Evil 6 has Leon Scott Kennedy and Helena Harper, Jake Muller and Sherry Birkin, and Chris Redfield and Piers Nivans. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard has Mia Winters and Ethan Winters. Honestly Resident Evil Village/8 doesn't really have a duo but has multiple main characters. I'm going with Chris Redfield and Ethan Winters for 8. Who is think the actual survivors are, are Leon Scott Kennedy and Claire Redfield and obviously with skins of characters such as Jill, Chris, ect. Killer possibilities for each game... RE1 has Lisa Trevor and the Tyrant. RE2 has Mr. X and William Birkin. RE3 has the Nemesis. RE4 has A TON but I'm sticking with Bitores Mendez and Verdugo. RE5 has Albert Wesker. RE6 has Ustanak. RE7 has Jack Baker. RE8 has Lady D, her "daughters", Heisenberg, Salvatore Moreau, and Mother Miranda. I think the killer will be the Nemesis. I think everything that comes with the base chapter will focus on 2 and 3. So for map I believe it will be Raccoon City with the main building being the main hall of the Raccoon City Police Station.
The killer I hate for playing is Trickster.

Going by what's logical to represent the company in current and future business endeavours:
Survivors: Chris Redfield, the main protagonist of the series basically, although Leon/Claire are also good choices with the upcoming Netflix series they may want to advertise too and prolong into multiple seasons. I hate to make it such a wide bracket but these three seem the most logical. If this ends up being none of them I'll play my disliked killer twice.
Killers: One of the Tyrants, so Mr. X or Nemesis, if it's one of them there will be a skin of the other. But if I had to definitely choose ... Nemesis. Just because he'd scream STARS like Demo would REEEE.
Map: Raccoon city would be very cool, less so the Police Department, we need less indoor maps.
Least favourite killer to play: Ghostface.

It really depends on if they are cross promoting the New RE game or not. If its just the franchise itself it should be Chris Redfield and Nemesis. If its to promote the new game It with be nathan (I think thats the main protags name) and Lady whats her face that a lot of people are going nuts over
