Final prediction on the new killer?
As Pixel Bush put it, it’s almost certainly Nemesis, or Jack Baker. Mr X and Lady D would also be very profitable for them, but Nemesis would be a lot easier to make a power for than X, and Lady D probably would’ve been the choice if the dlc was in like a year. They plan them ahead, so I highly doubt they risk making a dlc about a killer that wasn’t even released.
I’m leaning towards Nemesis right now, but Jack is a real possibility. I’d say I’m about 60/40 between them. I’d prefer Jack, since I’m not huge on RE3, but I’ll be excited either way. My main hope is we get Claire as one of the survivors, but I think she’s going to end up as a skin for Jill instead. If anyone thinks the killer won’t be Nemesis or Jack, I’d love to hear the argument otherwise.

Wesker as killer taking a leaf from resident evil resistance's book, able to spawn other enemies such as zombies.

I have never played a resident evil game so I don't know the main villains in the franchise. So I'm going to go with the most scary and popular option

Maybe I am overthinking stuff but I've seen quite a few references of dbd in RE8 and references of RE8 in dbd.

Nemesis/Mr X, which ever one it is, the other one will be a legendary skin!
Im kind of expecting the dlc to be based off of RE2 remake, so Leon, Claire and Mr X.
Just please not Lady Dimitrescu please.

I personally think it's gonna be Chris Redfield and in his intro he's gonna punch a Boulder and insta down the survivor with a shot xD

The only two options for killer that make sense are Nemesis and Wesker. Reason I say Nemesis over Mr. X is cus Nemesis is literally an evolved Mr. X who can think and learn by itself, which results in it being a more deadly killer and giving it the ability to learn how to use weapons. Makes no sense to get the lesser developed tyrant when you can possibly get the better now evolved one, who is also more popular as he's also been featured in other games before such as Marvel Vs Capcom for instance and also making the occasional appearance in other Resident Evil games that take place back in Raccoon City, plus he was in the movie as well!
Now for Wesker. If Resident Evil needed a big bad evil mastermind behind the curtain who set everything in motion, the argument could be made that that's Wesker. The guy has been involved in everything behind the scenes in the story, from trying to acquire the T virus to helping Birkin develop the G virus. He has had a hand in pretty much most of the events throughout Resident Evil. He is the big bad villain of the series. Also just like Nemesis, he too has been in multiple games in the series and has also been in other crossovers as well, again using Marvel Vs Capcom as one example, and has also been in the movies as well.
Also just want to add Nemesis and Wesker would make for some interesting perks and powers. Wesker I can see his moveset revolving around his enhanced super human speed and strength to chase down and just wallop the survivors. Same with Nemesis, although with Nemesis I can see his moveset revolving more around being able to better track down and hunt survivors and just being a complete power house. Plus there's the chance of giving Nemesis one of his signature weapons. If it was me, I'd say the flamethrower might be the best one to go with that wouldn't break the game. You can set walls/paths of fires to block off or discourage survivors from going to, or just straight up light them on fire and if you channel it on them for a couple of seconds you bring them down a damage state and maybe put mangled on them (cus I mean... they just ate a stream of fire... that -should- take a little more effort to heal up). And yes Nemesis also has his tentacles and I can see him maybe bringing an infection mechanic of some kind as well, cus I do believe that he is able to infect others with the virus. At least that's kind of implied in the original RE3 when after he tentacle stabs Brad, if you go back to that area in the game you see that he comes back as a zombie and is just kinda wandering there.
Either way, I'd be happy with either one of these guys as killers. I think they'd make for the most interesting additions out of all the villains throughout Resident Evil depending on their perks and specials.

Lady D is too big for a start. She'll have to bend down to put somone on a hook (not that you'll complain).
Whilst Lady D is the current flavour of the month, Nemesis and Mr X are more iconic with diehard Resident Fans.
Not everyone will buy the chapter (it's a licensed one for real money). So it has to come between a) what's popular now or b) what's been popular for years.
Lady D will be remembered in years to come because of the memes involving her size and figure.
Taking in to account Lady D's height, I would say it's easy to predict she won't be our killer.
My prediction is Nemesis. Mr X is not as iconic as Nemesis. It's a possibly that a legendary Mr X skin could be added.
But yeah. Nemesis.
