DBD is such a joke.
I'm leaving this god awful game because, after 3 years of playing, killer is still not a power role and solo queue is like working with jellyfish in human bodies.
As an avid horror fan, I've poured hundreds of dollars, and thousands of hours into this game, and yet it has gotten so bad at rank one that I can't do anything but quit. I can't even stand to play during this anniversary.
How does toxicity fester here so abundantly? By the end of each session of playing killer at rank one, I just want to tear myself to shreds. It's hell. From the constant BMing, to rubbing it in my face that I need to "get good" at trickster, of all killers, I can't stand it. It was cool with all the friends I made but I cannot live with this game in my life, it hogs my mind and fills me with such stress whenever I play it.
Devs, please figure it out. Try and make this game fun for the new influx of players you expect so soon.
If you want to do that, listen to Otz or someone of knowledge and playtime. And play your own killers before you even think of PTBing them, actually play them.
3 years and this game has only really improved cosmetically. Good job to that team, though.

If you want to do that, listen to Otz or someone of knowledge and playtime. And play your own killers before you even think of PTBing them, actually play them.Otz doesn't have an issue with toxicity. He being wholesome in post game chat even if he slugged whole team to win. And survivors really rarely being upset in his post game chat.

Oh, SenzuDuck... The Killer Hater in residence. It’s a widely known fact that killer is only easy in the mid to low ranks. In high ranks, it’s a challenge. And at the highest levels of difficulty, it’s impossible to win (this is assuming 4-man SWF with 3rd party comms). To say otherwise is to Be completely disingenuous or be completely detached from the state of the game.

I ready up before everyone, I don't whinge and moan about everything that survivors do, and I 4K like 95% of the time despite me never dodging a single lobby for anything.
Also, about me being a 'killer hater' I beg you to link one comment that would indicate I hate killers somehow, I don't ask for them to be nerfed (except for spirit)
I just don't struggle with killer, never have.

I am very sure that 99,99% of the people who complain about the "highest Level of difficulty" never have experienced it in the first place. If we are talking about that, those are tournament-SWFs, very, very strong Survivors. There are around a dozen of them worldwide. Chances of running into them are very low, doing it more than once is even more than unlikely.
Most of the time when Killers lose, they either lose against Solos where they think they are SWFs, or they lose against casual SWFs.. Which are the majority.
Like, just yesterday I got blamed for being in a "premade" by a Huntress. This Huntress was using a Meme-Build (Agitation, Iron Grasp, Mad Grit, Starstruck + red Add On which increases Movement Speed when out of Hatchets) and was complaining that she lost. But, she lost to a premade - why did she think that? Because I unhooked another Survivor with BT in Endgame when she was looking away while camping... Only a SWF can do that, because when I play Solo, I dont have a brain.
When it comes to Killer - yes, it is easy. The easiest it has ever been. It is still harder than Survivor and it should be harder than Survivor (it would not make sense if the 1 in the 1v4 has it easier), but it is not challenging at all. Obviously nobody gets a 4K every game, but this is also alright.

"At higher ranks it's a challenge" I'm assuming that with higher ranks you mean experienced players, as it's extremely easy to rank up both for killers and survivors.
So... you think that against good and experienced players, it shouldn't be a challenge for the killer to win? That sounds very entitled

"Senzu doesn't advocate for nerfing every single thing survivors have and ask for killer buffs, therefore he doesn't play killer and hates them".
I can see why they're upset though, attaching themselves to the idea I'm a survivor main and then seeing me be a better killer than them must be realling annoying.

Playing killer isn't bad though. I don't have the perks I need to make the builds I want, but I'll get there. Need like 10 million blood points 😂 LOL.
It's not bad though. I like the game. I'm a fan of the horror genre, so DbD is naturally appealing to me. Being able to play survivor AND killer is just a great experience.
Folks...focus on FUN. ENJOYMENT. Getting BETTER. Stop obsessing over what the next person is doing, and focus on YOU.
