The new report system/pride month
I play a lot of killers, with that said, when I play Pig, whoever is the unfortunate one to get bear trapped and hooked first, also gets tunneled out of the game. Do they like it? Don't care its my play style, Run DS if you are worried.
I know there are other killers who play in more frowned upon manners (Face Camping Bubbas, Basement Trapper, ect).
Scenario, so if that survivor just happens to be wearing a rainbow flag, and they decide to report me for harassment, I get banned. When in fact I play the same way for everyone?
I'm not LGBT myself, but personally don't care how individuals live there personal life. I also would never specifically target an individual for it. I want to kill all survivors equally as a killer.
I just don't see how BHVR is going to be able to determine the difference if someone faced a basement Trapper, and is mad or if they in fact were targeted. Especially in this community.

you don’t get banned just because you Tunnel one survivor that wears that charm.
you get banned if you singled out and targeted only survivors that are wearing that charm. That has always been the case if you did this with other „reasons“ like targeting only characters that are people of color.
you only get banned for this if there is evidence that you are actually targeting with that reason.
the new ban system isn’t out yet and we don’t know how it will actually work. It doesn’t relate directly to LGBTQ+ topics and should be discussed separately.

Good to know, not like I'm just trying to ruin one individuals 15mins of gameplay because they wore the charm. I do the same for all individuals.

I doubt any of this will be an issue, but I do understand where people are coming from.
If a % of charm wearing survivors reflexively report killers for targeted harassment on principle, how is anyone able to accurately determine the killer’s intent?

I feel like a broken record at this point, but I'm going to explain this again: no bans will be filed without proof, targeted harassment has always been a rule in the game and it's not going to change for the presence of a charm.
Camping and tunneling are not reportable or bannable, so as long as you play within the game rules, you don't have to fear anything and if you have doubts in regards of the rules, please refer to this: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules

If they wanted to, they could also just all play Claudette, Adam, Tapp and Elodie and Play the racist card. I don’t get how the charm is problematic. There is enough pointless LGBTQ+ discussions currently here in the forums.
you can for example determine it by the end game chat. People that target others because of stuff like that want those people to know it - otherwise there isn’t even a reason to targeting in the first place. Or if it can be proven over MULTIPLE games with video evidence that the killer only ever targets people with the charm. Or people of color. Or people with specific references in their usernames.

Yes but what if this new minority inclusion negatively affects me in some way? What if an unusual and unlikely hypothetical scenario my imagination dreamed up actually turns out to be the unfounded nightmare I've imagined? What if I get validation for my discomfort around LGBTQ+ issues?

You won't get ban for it, if you are not proved to be targetting someone in particular, over multiple games, which is the definitly of tunneling.
With tunnel sometimes being the only good option to gain some pressure back, you cannot be ban for it and it's a pretty common play.
You would be ban for it if you claim you did in the afterchat or if your name is offensive toward the LGBTQ+ community.
But sadly i don't see how, like you said, people that purposely target a specific part of the community could be differenciate from just tunneling for pressure and ban for it :( Because it's a pretty ######### thing to do.

i doubt it was specifically aimed at you personally more so aimed at the community as it is being brought up way too often.

Mooks is right, I'm not lashing out at you or the TC specifically. There's been a lot of "concern" over a charm the past two days...
I can understand the concern about the "auto ban" feature they mentioned, but the charm changes nothing. There was always the possibility of racism if you're playing Claudette/Adam/Tapp/Elodie, or even Feng/Jake/Yui/Yun-Jin/Jane/Zarina. This is no different, but a lot of people seem to think it's a special case and that LGBTQ+ players are a particular threat to their ability to play this game.

Please just read @Rizzo90 comment and stop guessing and continually being paranoid. Literally a Mod told you what will get you banned and what is not reportable/ban worthy.
Auto ban is a non-issue as it hasn't even been fully created yet - let alone internally tested. Stop freaking about what MIGHT come into the game when there is NO information about it.

well i this confiussion is becouse one of the dev who take care of they official twitter profile did anot well fraze sentence about banning people who tunnel players with that charm, and knowing how salty losers we have in this game get others players worried about being banned becose someone can take killing them in game abut killing like a personal attack. My edvice is to avid said statmens in the future at any cost

That statement was correct even if a little bit poorly worded.
people who go out of their way and Tunnel others because of a specific trait in multiple games will get banned if there is sufficient evidence for that claim.
this is nothing new that got introduced with the charm though.

I admit if i was a fresh player in this game that statment would make me feel like ok i need to worry about giving this person easer time in match just becouse i can get banned
