Licenses question.

I was just wondering how people would feel about some licenses being cosmetics for other characters, as opposed to full chapters. Like, I really want to see Pumpkinhead in the game but what if he was a skin for the Demogorgon? How would people feel about something like that?

    It’s definitely possible. It happened with the Crypt TV set. No chapter, just cosmetics.

    It already happened with Crypt TV, but personally I'd prefer for unique licenses to have their own place in the game, especially for Killers as they'd introduce new powers and mechanics to the game. I'm fine with characters from the same universe sharing Survivor models though, like we already have with Silent Hill. Not so much with Killers though.

    It may not work with existing licensed characters like Pyramid Head, Myers, Bill or Ash, for example. However, on original characters it could definitely be a thing! Crypt TV has worked, and if they wanted to play with more experimental characters (like Scooby Doo) it would be possible.

    This is kinda where I fall on it. I'm just wondering if it's something they're gonna start doing, like with the Crypt TV set.

    Crypt TV's legendary skins must be taken into account that they are content of different horror themes with Monster Emphasis, if they can serve as legendary skins for original characters, but in licenses it would be a problem for both Behavior, Krampus and the Minotaur are legends from real life and many people get the idea that they come from film adaptations, I think that having a "main protagonist or antagonist" as a legendary skin would be a disappointment for the fans, many hint at Pumpkinhead or Alien as legendary skins of demogorgon, but you have to think that no one would take the luxury of paying a movie classic as a simple skin. Just as they hint at wanting a legendary Jason skin for Trapper. Like if you gave a skin to Pumpkinhead to Demogorgon, the licensee would not allow it, it would be better to have the license for a playable character than a simple skin for a licensed killer if you want Pumpkinhead for example.
