what if killers had there own version of exhaustion perks
I made a thread about, what if coup de grace was like dead hard
( here is the whole thread)
When you press E as killer coup de grace becomes active.
the next lunge will have a 100% lunge increase.
when you hit a surv it the perk will deactivate.
when you miss with coup de grace activated the next lunge attack will have a 50% increase, but if you miss with that the perk will deactivate
the perk can reactive until you get a hook)
this would be kinda like a killer version of dead hard but what if they added a new status effect to killers ( the drained status effect when drained you cant use these kinda perks
for example instead of coup de grace being deactivated it will put the drained status effect on the killer until they get a hook. ( the drained status effect doesn't do anything else bad just makes so you can you certain perks, like the coup de grace i mentioned above)
this can also open new survivor perks for example you can put the drained status effect on the killer for X amount of time when the killer performs a certain type of action near you.
this would make certain killer perks unique swell.
for example, another "drained " killer perk idea I have would be when you hold the open button on a locker it will highlight all the lockers on the map. when you choose a locker the locker chose will emit a 24-meter radius that will put the hindered and oblivious status effect survivors. the radius of the locker lasts 40 secs ( or less). this will put the drained status effect on the killer until the killer gets a hook.
also, I thought of this since survivors are getting Boon totem which I speculate are like hex perks for survs.

I like the concept, but "until they get a hook" is not a killer version of exhaustion. Hooks are the equivilant of generators, but exhausted is based on a timer that only goes down when not running, essentially, when they're not in chase.
The "drained" status effect should be a 45 second timer that ONLY goes down while in chase. Survivors are rewarded for avoiding chase, killers get rewarded for maintaining chases.
So, for the coup de grace example, you start the game with the drained status effect. After 45 seconds of cumulative chase time, it activates and your next lunge distance is 100% longer. After lunging, you are afflicted with the drained status effect

that's also a good idea
but the reason why I put the hook requirement was killer cant walk and I didn't think of the whole chase thing.

I like this idea a lot, it's also another way to discourage camping as a bonus.

Understandable. I personally think somethi g that let you trigger an effect at certain bloodlust tiers would be cool. I know people hate bloodlust but if you know bloodlust 1 will give you a longer lunge, you may be more focused on keeping bloodlust going instead of kicking a pallet or dropping chase
