Running Multiple of the Same Perk.
I think it would be cool to be able to run multiple of the same perk. This would benefit perks that are usually underwhelming due to their percentages and would allow them to get much stronger.
For example, running 2 copies of botany knowledge would increase heals by 66%. Running two pops would regress a gen by 50%. Perks like sloppy butcher would not change due to having a set effect, and timer perks like bloodwarden would be unaffected due to all the timers running together.
It could lead to unique builds like running double iron will to counter stridor spirit. The only big negative I see is STBFL since multiple of it could allow a killer to have no cooldown on attacks so an upper limit would need to be set for perks like this.
Just another idea to help change up stale meta builds. Any feedback is appreciated.

This used to be a glitch back in the early days and from what I heard it broke the game

So would DS be able to be used twice or last 120 seconds? Either way, that does not sound like a good idea.
5 -
honestly if they did game modes I could see this as a fun stupid one
1 -
Ds would not be affected cause it is a timer perk with a 1 time effect like bloodwarden. So there would be no purpose to run two copies.

Dubble ruin, 400% gen regression.
We'll make it, 200% healing speed unhooking.
DS, 2-time use.
Undying, 2 protected hex totems
This would be rediculous

Imagine walking at 130% speed with 4 fixated

4 pop goes the weasels? Could u imagine
2 -
Ds would be unaffected due to the kind of perk it is.
Ruin might need to capped but it would still take two slots for that effect.
We'll Make it and Undying would not change much. Cause you would need three perk slots for a proper undying and we'll make it would only go from 8 to 4 seconds, good but not op for the cost.

That would be the new meta. Imagine running slower than walking

Uhhhhh... I have to say... That is the worst idea that I've actually ever heard for DBD... I'm already against the idea of having to go up against 4 Dead Heads, Decisive Strikes, Unbreakables, and Self-Cares... This happening would erase me from the current timeline.

Ah yes, pop regressing 100% of a gen or ruin regressing at 800% the normal rate.

I like this suggestion just because people are thinking now of the chaos it would create, what completely hilariously broken things people could do.
4x Agitation
4x Urban Evasion
4x Tenacity
4x Boil Over (actually...that might make the perk useful)
4x BreakOut
4x Fast Track
4x Shadowborn (Omni vision O_O )
4x etc

No. No. No. No. No. No.
This happened before.
Imagine 4 stacked Sprint Bursts.
I still have nightmares.

Damn bro, with that speed Meg should be able to ram a hole into exit gate :DDD

It is time to embrace tradition:

Hackers do this quite often (not that hacker's are common, simply those that do hack do this often), and it's the most broken thing ever. Urban Evasion and Fixated both make survivors uncatchable.
Edit: also, 3 Botany Knowledges would make a green medkit last forever and the heal time would be 4 seconds.

The idea sounds good, but I think it'll be a nightmare to go against for both side.

Hackers can do it somehow, I've seen 4x urban evasions which let the survivor move faster than the killer without ever starting the chase event (as they're crouching, not running) so bloodlust wouldn't happen either

This... Would break the game.
2x Enduring, 2x Brutal Strength? Pallets just don't exist.
4x Resilience, 36% father all actions when injured.
Or 2x Resilience, 2x Spine Chill? Oof.
It'd be fun, but the least balanced thing ever brought to the game.

So if I stacked 4 versions of STBFL and charged them up with 8 tokens...
...would I get an 160% cooldown reduction on successful hits?
Or maybe I'll stack two of those with double-Unrelenting. Then I get -80% cooldown on successful hits and -60% cooldown on misses. I could pretty much just spam attacks like I was Old Legion in Frenzy.
Unfortunately, this concept would probably be impossible to balance without nerfing every perk into a pathetic state.

Imagine this SWF combo
The survivors are carrying a Commodious Toolbox with a Wire Spool and Scraps (52 charges)
One Nea with 4 Streetwise's (100% item efficiency)
One Dwight with 4 Prove Thyself's (60% Repair Speed Bonus with just one survivor)
One Felix with 4 Built to Last's (constantly repairs items that last a while)
A Nancy on the offense to distract the killer with her 4 Fixateds, walking away.
I'm not a person who's good with math, but I'm pretty sure this'd be hell for the killer

They would have to handpick the perks for this to keep it from being broken, and it would prob just end up being a bunch of crap perks we don't want anyways.
Also, this was a bug in an old version of dbd and it was NOT balanced in the slightest.

Pretty much 😂

I wonder how a pallet kick would look with 4 brutal strengths.
Maybe I'll make an alt account and hack it to see it. In a custom of course, bc hackers are NOT fun to go against.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

No.
Just no.

Of course the killer perks would need a limit?

It is unavoidable. It is our destiny to return.

Whyyyyyyyy must you torture meeeee???

It will be fun, I assure you. Don't tell me you are not up for some old-fashioned 2016 DBD Action. Because I sure am!

I did post this as kind of a crazy out there idea to buff certain perks that are bad, something like brutal strength. As i said caps would need to be set for the maximum speed of certain actions to perk abuse.
So yeah not completely with a straight face as i dont see it ever happening and if it did the devs probably couldnt implement it correctly.
