Does the BP grind discourage you from buying the RE chapter?

I have a handful of DLCs and perks I got from the shrine. If I were to buy, I wouldn't have to spend as much time, but I still have 4-5 pages of perks on all killers & survivors that I need to unlock, individually.

This question mainly goes to the players that bought every DLC & have all perks unlocked.

Are you ready to spend millions to get a character to the max? Are you ready to spend 4-5x more if u want to P3 and get all perks for one character?

The RE chapter has 3 characters that u need to level up individually and P3 if you're up for it.

Are you rdy to spend EVEN MORE to get the perks from these character onto your main killers / survivors?

Are you not rdy for the grind, player?

No, not really. I know that I'm going to have to grind for it, so i'm just preparing myself now. I love all of the characters and I'm definitely going to P350 all perks both Leon and Jill, maybe Nemesis too depending on how fun he is to play when he goes to live servers. If anything part of the grind will encourage me to get it because grinding is the reason I keep playing.

What does discourage me from buying it, though, is my bf saying he'd get it for me lmao.

While I do have a problem with how hard the grind is, especially when It comes to p350's, I am more than happy just getting the perks unlocked, and not worrying too much about anything else. I know sometime down the road, I will p350 everyone, but that's a problem that I'll deal with when I get there lol.

I stopped grinding like this long ago. I simply don't have time for it. I just P3 three survivors and killers and the rest of the cast sits on lvl 40. Which was also a mistake because half of the teachable perks are useless for me and all it did was just poison my bloodweb with trash perks forever.

As for RE chapter, I will level up only Jill and maybe P3 her next year if I find time and BP for that lol

Bloodpoints bears no impact on my decision to buy a DLC chapter, only if character/power on offer matters to me.

I prepare in advance, my blood point cap is 1 500 000 right now and i have a stacked tome and dailies waiting to be collected.

No I’m not bothered. And it’s not mandatory to P3, and max out all characters to enjoy the new content. At most, maybe I’ll only get each one to lv 40 to unlock their perks.

No, I'll happily waste all of my time getting Leon, Jill, and Nemesis to P3.

The grind doesn't stop me at all, a lot of the grind is what keeps me playing - I want every single perk on all my characters so that I can play around with different builds on different characters etc. Without having some grind there'd be less to play for, I'm not saying that there shouldn't be changes to the grind or that it's not overly grindy or anything, I do think some changes could be needed as there's a lot of characters and perks in the game right now, and that's growing.

Im fine bc i have every killer with every perk already. So i need just to p3 nemesis with all perks and then 300k on every killer. Survivor i level only to 40 and then i get the teachables for Ace.

Right now i have enough time to level up everything between two chapters, but i would get the new killer even if i dont have enough time.

But imo the grind is too much. New players have it hard enough.

What? You can't grind out 53 million in 3 months? Talk about lazy.

The grind doesn't discourage me from buying chapters, it discourages me from putting more time into the game. It just doesn't feel very rewarding to me for the amount of time it takes

BHVR's unwillingness to talk with players about optimization issues to find solutions, constant and long term bugs that go unfixed, and dragging out of balance changes are what mostly have led to my decision to not spend more money on the game.

The grind to me is definitely excessive, and I don't feel it is just me being a completionist. I have almost 2000 hours in the game and I still have about 10 killers that don't have all the perks and no survivors that have all the perks. I only wasted P3ing two characters (it was before cosmetics) too. The majority of my survivors are still at level 40 because I have been concentrating on killers first.

And no matter how many people tell me, "you don't need every perk on every killer and you only need one survivor because they are just skins", that is not how I like to play. I like to play most of the killers and try lots of different builds on them. I like to play different survivors because I don't want to look at the same person the whole time. And what if I get a Survive with "Insert Survivor" challenge and a Perform Coop Action, or Heal 3 Health States, or Escape with a New Item. Those are all challenges I want to run different builds for.

And perks aren't the only part of it. There are a lot of killers that I haven't put blood points into for a while because they have all the perks that are running out of their better add ons. And since I've barely put any points in survivors, I'm almost out of med kits on all of them.

Most of us don't want to play this game like it is a part time or full time job just so we can have perks and items on our characters. If the grind were almost entirely on getting new items across the 48 characters, it would be fine. I don't need to have a perk grind to enjoy the game. The game play is what I find enjoyable.

I actually love grinding, coming from games like World of Warcraft. But the grind is pretty excessive and an enormous turn off for new players.

The gameplay pulled a lot of my friends into the game, and the grind sent almost all of them away.

It doesn't discourage me personally from buying DLC's and cosmetics, but it definitely is eating into their profits because of how many people it shuns away from the game.

    The grind? No

The map, zombies, and shrunken Jill? Yes
