How many maps do we have again? [RANT]
Every time I play blight I get the most grim selection of maps, today it was:
- Haddonfield
- Ormond
- Lerys
- Haddonfield again
- Midwich (with an offering), but someone alt f4ed and no it actually wasn't me
- Mother's dwelling, I've never actually been happy to see that map before
- Lerys again
- Midwich, (again with an offering), this time the match happened although I wish it didn't
- Haddonfield AGAIN, literally none of the haddonfield games even involved an offering
- Fractured cowshed, again I can't remember ever loading into this map and thinking "thank you, merciful god")
- The game (with an offering)
- Grim pantry
This is worse than usual but I seriously have really bad luck with maps when playing blight - lerys is one of the maps on this list I prefer, because I've learned how to play blight on lerys, because I've ended up there 3 times in a row before. Have I pissed off the shadow council who work behind the scenes at behaviour interactive? If so I will buy as many auric cells as necessary to redeem myself, free me from this curse.

Picked up Billy after playing Oni constantly for a while. I'm a Billy main. Oni grew up on me recently due to his power & insane snowball that I could only dream of when playing Billy.
First match -> Haddonfield... And the survivors were decent as well...
I ran:
- BBQ
- Ruin
- Infectious
- Shadowborn.
I got 0 value out of Infectious. You know why? Cause of the stupid RNG with windows, pallets & loops I got.... Every time I downed someone I could not afford to slug... They knew how to abuse the houses as well with the drop-downs... They were spread on gens as well. I had ABSOLUTELY ZERO CHANCE.... It hurts playing a game when u know you're gonna lose horribly...
I had a fantastic time... At least I got to curve 2 times which was nice but the rage stayed for 2-3 matches. Never played Billy for the remainder of the day. If the first match As billy you get sent to Haddonfield, it's a clear sign you shouldn't play Billy anymore for today.
In the next match, I was Huntress on Ormond...

@Aneurysm wait until the new resident Evil Map drops. Us blight & billy players will have a fantastic time on that map

I am just not gonna play blight for a while after the new chapter to avoid the map as much as possible. I liked it enough playing as nemesis but with pinball the urge to ragequit will be strong 😄

I had a day where I had the Game 5 times in a row - no offerings to go there. I just turned off DBD for the night after that.
So many times I just see same map over and over and over.... It's amazing there's so many yet in single day without an offering played you just end out on one.

Hard agree, and I don’t understand why there is. There’s what, like 35 maps now? Why not just make it completely random? I don’t understand why I have to get Yamaoka 4 times in a row, I just want to at least play on a different realm

Gonna agree with map favour, I swear that I constantly get Autohaven Wreckers variants if no map offerings are played.

And yet they're virtually identical. One has the tramp steamer, the other doesn't. Both look the same, both play the same, both suuuuuuuuuuuck.
I reiterate what I always do, what a wise user before me said: The REALMS should be randomized, not the maps. And preferably randomized in a way that each realm gets played before there's a repeat (my opinion, at least. I'd prefer to cycle through everything at least once before getting the same map three or four times a day). After the REALM is selected, THEN the maps, if the realm has more than one, is selected. This way we won't get Rotten Fields and Nasty Abbatoir and Cornfield of the Damned or whatever 500 times while at least 20 other matches aren't seen for the rest of the week. A realm that has five maps should NOT have five times the chance of appearing over realms that have only one.
Though, and I've said this before as well, I find it strange that Coldwind and muckswamp show up constantly whereas Badham hardly ever shows up at all.

If no map offerings are used I get Autohaven or Macmillan about 85% of the time, corn about 10% and the rest random - I play most days and I can go several days without seeing some maps at all. I don't think I've had the hospital or Hawkins this week at all

The maps / realms I get the most: Coldwind, the swamps, Autohaven, Crotus Prenn asylum, MacMillan. Probably in that order.
The maps I see on rare occasions: Yamaoka, Midwich, Haddonfield, Dead Dawg Saloon, again probably in that order. Also, the majority of maps, just less frequently still.
The maps I rarely see (once per 3 hour session at most, if at all: The Game, Lery's mental hospital, Hawkins Lab. All my favorite maps, sadly enough.

About a week ago I played on lerys almost 8 times in one day and I only played like 12 matches. The only reason I didn't play on it the 8th time was because I disconnected when I loaded in :D

I just realised that no one here mentioned Badham, and now that I thought about it, I almost never get it myself. Which is very weird since, for some reason, there are 5 five of them.

I might do that as well. I have a lot of corn + crotus penn offerings on him and I'm fine with those.
Demo is the other killer I'm playing a lot of rn and he's not that map dependent so I might switch to him when I'm getting battered with these maps
I mentioned that to a friend earlier who thinks that as well and I was skeptical bc it doesn't make any sense to me. But then BHVR doing something strange for no particular reason isn't out of the question either
