I know it's not the point of your post, but why did you DC? Because they beat you? Based on those scores, I guess they must've got all the gens done, then you DC'd. That's not a good look.
While I agree that the matchmaking isn't in great shape, it is still possible to beat players that are higher ranks than you. Perhaps you just had a bad game. Maybe they just had a great game.

The only advice i can give is take a break
Everyone knows the matchmaking is bad, thats why we are waiting on mmr.
Maybe if you come back to the game (or at least killer) after a while it will be fun again.

BTW I feel most people dont get this DBD matches you within 7 ranks therefore you can match with rank 1s.
But we all know ranking and matchmaking is awful.

It's also a swf so that's why the ranking is another reason you're match with that.

Yep the whole time I was green ranks nothing but purples and reds so I know how you feel my only advice keep going at it, don't feel like you need to win just learn more from your mistakes and capitalize on your foe's mistakes, but most importantly do not forget to have fun every once and a while pick your favorite killer run a build you like no matter what survivors think and just have fun. Sometimes I'll run an all endgame Doctor build so I can mess around all game and still put up a fight this build normally consists of my two favorite add-ons his two iris and the perks being SBFL, NOED, Blood Warden, and BBQ. Why this build simple its funny to me. So just take a break for a day or two cool off and just have a couple chill games the matchmaking sucks so until its fixed just work with whatchu got I believe in ya.

Usually when killer DCs after all gens done its because their NOED was cleansed/didnt proc in my experience. Otherwise worst case scenario they will just open gates and wait it out. The presence of small game supports this.

Whatever the reason, it's not good is it. Rage-quitting right at the last minute only happens when the quitter knows they were beat and doesn't want their opponent to get the satisfaction of winning.
But the opponent still knows they won, and all that happens is that you lose all the points (however few they may have been) you've just earned.

Unless it was changed it should be only 5 ranks up or down.
So this match making would be abnormal with a 7 rank difference.

Thats not the worst matchmaking I've witnessed. One of my friends is a green ranked killer who got matcged with 4 red ranks, possibly a 3-man. You at least got 2 purples.
Side note: Corrupt Intervention and Ruin are a terrible combo. Corrupt (generally) makes survivors leave the generators they spawned on, which increases the likelyhood they spot ruin as they move to a new gen.
Side note 2: NOED is kinda silly on Bubba, you already have an insta-down.

Dude, this isn't even bad MM. Everyone is within 6 ranks, which is standard MM in DBD.
Why are you complaining? Sounds like you just want easy 4ks. And a DC, c'mon man

Yeah its pretty bad... and achieves nothing, survivors still get all the points they would get anyway. I'm guessing they would have DCd earlier but thought they would get a few free kills from the NOED crutch but when that failed raged out.

You couldn't handle being looped or what? Rage quits then comes to the forums to complain.

You think THAT'S bad; I'm yellow rank now and I still get 1-3 red rank survivors in every game. Depipping will not help, there are way too many over-experienced survivors and way too few hyper-skilled killers to challenge them.

I'm a red rank Survivor and I constantly get matched against brown rank Killers.
Yes, the matchmaking is bad. I honestly feel bad when that sort of thing happens, because I feel like I'm bullying a kid when I loop them for 5 gens. I can't just stop bullying them, though. I play Nea with cosmetics. The bullying must happen. They must learn. Nea demands a sacrifice.

Well, all my friends have quit playing and I rarely play more than a couple matches a week, so: mission accomplished.

My post was a bit of a joke, but it has some truth to it:
I DON'T want to be matched against brown rank Killers. I wish I had a way of knowing so I wouldn't bully them. The issue is that most of my looping and defense maneuvers are based on denying the Killer an easy hit, but I also don't know if the Killer is any good until I give them a clear avenue to hit me. Without just taking a hit to see how well they handle a basic scenario, I have no way of knowing how well I'm outplaying a Killer except "they are countering me" or "they aren't countering me". It's one of the issues with this game: You simply don't know what you're up against. Not fully, anyways.
Also, this should go without saying, but Survivors and Killers SHOULDN'T have to adjust their gameplay or playstyle or BIG SWEAT METER based on what they are up against. They should just be able to play the way they want to play within the context of the game. It's not the red ranks fault that they are being pitted against Killers that don't stand a chance, and it's not the Survivors job to go easy on them. That's an issue with the game and the matchmaking in particular. In that regard, I completely agree with the point of this post, and I feel for what your friends are going through and putting up with. I really do.
