What "free" killer should I get
So I got enough shards to buy a new character, I find myself playing killer mostly (pig more specifically) so I don't know what killer I should get. I have most of the killers that are from outside sources (freddy, ghost face, myers, pig). So yeah, any suggestions

Depends. If you're playing killer to win, pick up Spirit, if you're picking up a killer for fun, Then I'd say Blight or Clown, while if youre looking for good perks, Clown (again) and Plague.

Coincidentally I already have Plague, unfortunately I totally suck with her considering I have a hard time aiming her puke. Practice might help with that but its frustrating. As far as fun is concerned thats why I play pig. Just like to get some snoot boops if people know how to play that game. Although I have gone into serious mode (usually preceded by the survivor running instead of boops and I end up saying to myself "We got a runner")

If you want a killer with good perks, pick Clown. If you want a killer who is going to be powerful, pick Spirit or Oni. If you want a powerful killer with great perks, pick Hag.

Clown, Plauge, Blight, or Oni.
Clown has pop goes the weasel, so yeah, very powerful perk, I personally don’t like his power but some do.
All of Plague’s perks are super powerful (except Dark devotion, most of the time), her power pairs up with the perk thanatophobia very well, she has this weird existence as sometimes one of the strongest killers in the game, and sometimes as the one of the weakest, depending on survivors.
Blight has undying, so paired up with other Hag’s Devour hope or her Ruin, very powerful combo. Blight himself is fun in my opinion, but on some maps very frustrating due to bad collision.
Oni is very strong and fun killer, only downside is that his 3 teachable perks kinda suck. His power combo’d with the Plauge’s Infectious fright perk is very powerful.
Anyhow, it’s really just up to you man, hope this didn’t overwhelm too much, just a huge nerd that loves this game

Oni is fun and a good killer who's pretty easy to pick up or plague for her perks.

Seems like there is a toss up between blight and clown. I should probably just buy one then get the free one as the other at this point lol

You might enjoy Clown, I personally love playing him. He also has 1 great perk (Pop Goes the Weasel), 1 decent perk (Bamboozle), and one okay-ish perk (Coulrophobia).
If you like taking time on learning killers, go for Blight. He's also pretty fun.

Doctor. His teachables are meh and he's not top tier, but he looks cool and I think there should be more Doctor players.

For perks Clown or Plague, Pop and Corrupt Intervention are so nice to have.
For gameplay, it really depends on what you are looking for. Blight is great for mobility, but takes some time to learn. Hag has a unique way of playing, as you don't really chase in the traditional way and are more about control while still very strong. Plague is also a bit different in terms of play due to her power where it causes the broken effect, allows survivors to heal to unlock the ability to pick up her upgraded puke. In the end all the killers have their own style and it is more of a question of what suits you and what you want out of a killer.

Blight is a lot of fun, though he has a slight learning curve. But, boy, is pinballing around the map fun.
He's VERY weak but I've always enjoyed playing Clown, very simple to learn, OK perks, fun outfits.
Plague is a fun killer with good perks but there's a bit of micro management involved with her that you need to learn to excel, but she's a lot more dangerous than people give her credit for.
If you like FPS you might like Deathslinger, the chain reeling mechanic is fun but he feels kind of bland after a few hours, aim + shoot is as deep as he gets, really.
I'd avoid Trickster and maybe the Twins. It's not that there isn't fun to be had with them but Trickster is insanely map dependant to the point that 80% of maps are pretty much an instant loss. Twins has a relatively strong playstyle, but its very boring and not too engaging.

Just a heads up, the devs said they're going to give out enough iri shards to buy a new killer during the anniversary event next month, so you could always hold off til then for the other one.

this is a good question. Didn't quite like freddy and the plague was kinda meh for me. I am decent with pig and apparently now legion as I got that last night.

Doctor is obnoxious to face, but he is fun to play. He's greatly if you have trouble tracking people or need some slow down in your matches.
Oni is one of their best made Killers. You have a bit slower of a start as you need to build up blood, but you get to smush people once you get the ball rolling. He takes more effort than Doctor.
Blight is one of the strongest Killers, but he involves a lot of fast slamming into stuff and changing directions. I personally cannot stand his game play.
Clown is weaker than many other Killers, but he is also very basic and easy to pick up. He's pretty hit or miss in my experience. Some matches feel fun, some feel like torture.
Trickster is love and life, but he isn't super strong cause he has some glaring weaknesses on some maps where his power is difficult to get use out of. Throwing his blades is fun as is his sounds/personality ingame, but I'd say test the water with Huntress to decide if you like Ranged killers first since she is free.
Deathslinger could work if you like ranged and FPSs. He's all about the aim though.
Spirit is busted strong, get her if you want to be a sweat lord.

Yeah I already got slinger (mainly because I like one of the outfits, bad reason I know) and noticed hes kinda like an fps type character (of which i suck at) lol.
