How does blight's 180 degree turn work now?
Are you doing two 90-degree turns during a lunge attack? Or do you swing your mouse and turn just before the lunge attack, similar to before?

You do things and it happens.

Haven't been able to do this with a controller, even on max sensitivity. He is a bit easier to control since the changes, but still feels janky to me and slides off of the weirdest things, most of them low & out of sight.
Maybe I need to practice him more, but although better he still feels somewhat uncontrollable on Xbox1.

There are 3 variations of 180s.
- Blight can 180 just by continuously turning with the sensitivity he was intended to have, but it now implemented for controler and Q and E, but it's wide.
- There's what you suggested, turning blight, doing a 90 degree lunge, and further changing the direction of his lunge (they shadowbuffed him allowing him to change his lunge direction mid swing). Obviously, you'll loose mousepad if you have low sensitivity, so it's best with higher sensitivity. That's more or less how I think it works. This is the one LilithOmen uses. It's his baby after all.
- Manipulating his collision to allow him to preturn a corner at 90 degrees, and following up with a 90 degree flick. I believe it works by hugging a wall, completely looking up or down (down is preferable for obvious reasons), and start the preturn. This is the method AscensionWho uses and Otz at least attempted to learn (might still be doing it). Think of this as a car tech you trigger for yourself. This is probably more patch proof because it'd require BHVR to rework Blights bumps mechanics yet again.

If you have a DPI switch, you can do it in one mouse sweep setting high sensitivity. You start turning and then press m1 while dragging your mouse. It will look identica to the old jflick. Pretty good job so far.
Technically, we don't know if it's intended or not. The only confirmed intended part is the 90-degree cap on the lunge. @McLean said we're free to speculate for the rest, like it's some sort of classified national security operation and we aren't paying customers.
Considering that now Blight can even go around structures like shack in 90-degree increments without slamming, I'll venture to say it's unintended. They tried to patch the jflick like they said they would, they ######### up egregiously by sending it live without testing, the community finds a way to flick in literally minutes from the updatw, and now bhvr doesn't have a narrative to fall back on because they don't even know if they can fix it properly.
