Pretty good job so far
Matchmaking is pretty good job so far

It was specifically stated that ranks will not be used for matchmaking while MMR matchmaking is active.
just seeing the ranks doesn’t tell us anything about the match or the players. Even a rank 20 can have experience in the game. Even a rank 1 can be pretty bad and on noob-level (I would know, since I am red rank but pretty damn bad)

Maybe, just maybe they should do these tests for more than just a few days AND inform the community that the still in place ranks are worthless during those tests. Even a group of rainbow ranks CAN be correct if for example the yellow and green have been deserved red rank at some time but, either due to the reset bug or a long time out, were pushed down again.
But we all know that behaviour is way too scared to upset the majority of the community for even a short time such a system would need acclimate itself or the community learn how this new matchmaking works and how to read it

So you are saying that rank 20 can have experience to stand up to rank 1? Haha, good one! Crack me another one!
One of the rank 20 said he just got the game. He had 1 perk.

I've had brown rank teammates that played way better than most rank 1s. The point of MMR is that the colored ranks don't mean anything, and it's proving it's point.

Yeah I am saying that. Because it is true.
the info about the one being completely new to the game was missing. But i guess you expected us to know that? (Could still be a lie btw)
and we really don’t know how the red rank killer plays. There are killers on red rank that that do play awfully. more context would be helpful instead of just showing the ranks during a matchmaking test that specifically ignores the ranks.

Cool story bro :)

Eh.
In my 5 duo SWF matches at Rank 1, all of the teammates we got were sub Rank 15 and had under 100 hours. 3/5 Killers were Red Ranks, the others were also sub Rank 15.

The MMR still didn´t had data on the rank 20 with 1 perk. Thats why it assumes a mid tier player and matches accordingly.
Once he loses a fair amount of matches, he will be matched accordingly.

My point was just that the picture of the ranks is not enough info.
i actually think that this MMR test is worse than the last and matches new players with experienced ones in a way that shouldn’t happen.
but we don’t know if the pics in OP are actually showing this or the Survs are using smurf accounts or something actually validly matched. Builds or points for example could help giving a clearer picture of this.

Proving it how? By providing the absolute pinnacle of ######### games that were so ######### unfun that waterboarding would be a more acceptable form of torture than watching your 2 braincell survivor buddies ignore you on hook because they are afraid to leave lockers.

I used my 2 killers that I used the least since having the game and got the same opponents I would without MMR. the highest rank I seen was a 4 in one game and that with the killers I am worst/least played with at the current time.

Highest meaning the rest were 1-3 btw.
