Disconneted because of error 8012 and still got penalized as if I had DCd
I was in the middle of a match as the Twins, and while I was playing I got kicked out of the game, sent back to the main screen and got the 8012 error. I tried reconnectinb but no, again and again it showed me the same error.
So I had to restart the whole game and when I finally got back in, this is what I got.
So 2 things I'd like to adress:
1-I didn't disconnect on purpose, but in reality, it was because of that error.
2-Please make it so that if scenarios like this happen to other players and myself, we don't get penalized for something we didn't do.

This happened to me too about an hour ago, and I was also playing Twins. I wonder if it's a killer-specific bug? This has never happened to me before now.

I got disconnected around the same time playing as a Myers. So it's not that.

You did DC even thought it wasn't your fault. That is why the first two DC penalties are relatively shore 5 and 10 min. The problem with having people not get a penalty unless the press the leave game button is that then you will have people forcibly terminate their connection to get out of the match making the DC penalty completely useless.
I know it sucks it happens to everyone from time to time but you can thanks all the players that would quit over the slightest inconvenience.

I played a match with Twins afterwards and everything went well for what I can recall. So, it couldn't be that.
