I always run leader and point to the survivor to open the exit gate for everyone. Sometimes they get it, other times they don't.
Honestly though, love running this perk with bond. It has saved me and the team a lot of times under extreme killer pressure sometimes!

No one would even have to do totems if people just got the gate open in time!

Although that’s fair, we could have been out the gate before Wraith reached us had this silly Dwight just let me switch with him. Especially because I had active Resilience.
