If I remember correctly only cross-progression between PC (I think Steam, not Windows Store) and Switch was confirmed, but not when it's going to happen. Steam and Stadia have cross-progression already (I believe) and are the only platforms for which it is enabled.
No idea why Xbox and Windows Store don't have cross-progression, they are both owned and controlled by Microsoft so it should be possible.

There is no cross-progression between XBox and Windows Store at this time. Currently it is only for Steam and Stadia, with Switch coming soon. I'm afraid there is no information on when or if cross-progression will be available for other platforms, but, if there is more news to share in regards to cross-platform, it will definitely be shared on the forums, and on social media.
