Badham.

I'm shocked that I don't hear this map trashed more often around here, honestly.

People talk about Haddonfield, Ormond, The Game, ect, but every single version of Badham just s u c k s . Four strong structures, plenty of pallets, a million and a half breakable walls that need to be broken just so you can make one building viable to catch someone in..

Like, the preschool itself is strong enough as it is. But the shack, the two story house, and the House of Pain too? Forget it.

It's not as aggressively offensive as the Swamp, but I still hate it.

    I'm pretty sure if a survivor dies in the preschool underground area with boil over and the basement isn't there you are actually forced to break a wall

    I don't like Badham at all - way too many pallets and good structures, as you say, lots of walls that hinder map traversal, gens are extremely spread out, and the variations add absolutely nothing except to confuse your perceptions of the layout - but most of Badham's breakable walls aren't really in your interest to break? It's easier to catch survivors in or around the preschool when all the walls are up. Mainly you'd break the walls if you downed someone in the basement and needed to reach a hook, or if you were coming in from the side and desperately needed to reach the basement gen. (Which is a major issue with the map - downing someone in the main building, if the basement spawns in shack, is utter hell. There should be a hook in the basement, like with the Temple of Purgation.)

    The only walls that the killer needs to break are if they spawn in the two-story house or the house of pain next to a window, and those are both RNG. Sometimes you even get a dead end wall in the middle of the house of pain that survivors never expect and run straight into.

    But yeah, Badham's one of my least favorite maps, but doesn't make the cut for my most hated. It's very unpleasant to play, but it's not as soul-crushing as seeing a Jigsaw Piece or a Strode Realty Key in the loadout.

    I've literally seen killers break walls on that map twice. Ever. I wish I could get the teammates you seem to get that make this map so bad for killers.

    I've seen plenty of killers break the one wall that allows you to loop the fence

    Yea I'm pretty sure it's the most survivor-sided set of reworked maps and it could use some small tweaks. Maybe one less window and one less breakable wall on the bottom floor of the two story house, remove the breakable wall from the house of pain, and remove 1 or 2 filler pallets. Just my thoughts.

    I used to ######### about it a lot on here but when they only answered half of my question about it during a dev stream when they didn't remove the higher pick rate of it for 3 damn months I resigned to defeat that they won't remove all the stupid pointless and miserable "variants" of it.

    Badham to me is the worst set of maps right after Haddonfield. Those maps are disgustingly designed and they have ridiculously strong structures that just allow you to waste the killer's time for free.

    Badham is the worst map in the game, I hate it with passion. And for some ######### up reason theres 5 of them.

    All good survivors just take the chase to the house of pain, chained to the shack, chained to that 2 story house with insane windows or just make use of main building. Not to mention wild pallet spawns are sometimes way too convenient, even 2 pallet loops if RNG want to really screw with you.

    I really don't know why people don't mind it, maybe because average survivors cannot run those loops pretty well?

    I still hate playing on this map a lot, but imo Hawkins and Lery's etc. are so so much worse to play on that I welcome Badham with open arms if I get it after playing a round on ######### Hawkins.
