Does anyone else get annoyed at these challenges ?
These challenges really bug me, the fact that it’s impossible to do it in one game is silly. I know it’s to stop people from completing them too quick but I hate the fact that I’m only allowed to have one challenge active and I’m forced to play 2 games because I have to kill 6 survivors.

I don't mind challenges like that because they are things you do in a normal game. I hate the ones that require you to basically throw a game or play in unfun way to complete.

Not really. I don't play killer too often so my killer rank is always at the lowest thresholds so getting kills isn't difficult. I'm more annoyed at unhooking challenges since those can take forever.

As a killer main I do find it frustrating but it’s also for survivor where you have to complete like 12 gens so you have to play 3 games if you manage to complete all 5 gens in a game

I find these challenges boring, not the ones that you can do normally like the challenge you showed here but ones like "hook the obsession 4 times in a single match" aka bring nemesis or tunnel hoping for ds one or the other.
Most challenges just force you to play in a way you normally don't do like or the other side don't like, like the dumb plague challenge that we got recently which was almost impossible to do unless 3 gen or farming.

I'm just glad the devs give us the generic challenges as a route to finish. The character and perk specific ones are probably the most annoying and game throwing to complete.

It's just unnecessary padding, that's all it is. It's supposed to be tedious, and it's not supposed to be fun because unlocking new things in video games has to be a boring grind now I guess.

this is just..."win 2 matches as killer without bothering about the last survivor getting the hatch". why does it bother you?

If that bothers you, never try survivor challenges. Most of them take several games to complete. Cleanse 20 totems, repair 10 generators... then you've got ones that want you to stun or blind the killer half a dozen times, when most killers will wisen up to your tactics and start respecting the hell out of pallets or looking away after the first one, and some killers aren't even worth trying to blind or stun because they have some kind of pallet play that will gank you if you try.
I play both sides about equally and I have almost every killer challenge done, the only ones remaining being ones I don't particularly want to do or don't have the character unlocked for. Survivor archives have way more remaining just because their challenges take longer.

See I don’t find it frustrating since I can just chuck on nemesis or even better furative chase (I can’t remember how to spell it) and get it done in one game

I don't mind these ones so much.
It's the ones that are like "repair a total of 6 generators cooperatively" that grinds my gears because it takes so long

Nah this challanges good. I hate challanges force me to play another character. I love my mains but some challanges makes me play with other characters.

I hate the cleanse 15 totems challenge, you really don’t cleanse them that much

Well wait for the master challenges, they're going to be extra tough 😂...
I personally hate the ones when I have to kill all 4 survivors in one game cause I'm ourple rank and I suck + facing red rank survivors usually end up me killing max 1 survivor.

I hate challenges that require you to do something difficult and then you have to escape on top of that.

Yeah same problem here. 😅 4 games i go through hell then a lucky game i can win but there is always this stupid hatch ....

I agree, I hate these. I can understand an achievement being hard to unlock, but challenges are always just rift/BP rewards to me. So I don't like a simple challenge being too hard to achieve.
(But I do like an achievement being hard to get.)

One of the worst imo is the first survivor node that you have to take ‘unhook 20 survivors’; as this results in everyone not doing generators and crowding around an injured teammate about to go down like vultures, fighting to be the one to get the save the second the killers back is turned with BT so they get a safe unhook even if you get tunnelled out the game :’)
Challenges like these can be completed in regular play; but the fact you can only have 1 active at a time leads people to focus on the challenge, even at the cost of regular play; and in the worst cases encourage actually damaging behaviour such as farming your team mate on the hook or hiding all game to escape without being hooked at all etc.

This one isn't that big of an issue, I hate the ones where you have to do something 20+ times, at that point the challenges are just tedious.

Yeah you can't really farm these challenges (not that I would ever do that) which makes them annoying but they are not nearly as bad as the "earn three iridescent emblems in one trial" challenges. God I hate those because the emblem system is such garbage

The thing is, the players wanted easier challenges after the first Tome. Those are easy Challenges - you just have to play for them. Like, either they are grindy or they are difficult, but you cannot have easy Challenges which are not grindy, because in the end, the Tome Levels should not be finished after one Day and then everyone has to wait 2 or 3 Weeks for the next Level.
I dont really like the grindy Challenges, I prefer the more unique ones (except for the Plague-Challenge, this one was a little bit too early in the Tomes, it was more a Level 4 instead of Level 2-Challenge).
But at least for Killers, the grindy Challenges are just normal gameplay. For Survivors, they add SIde Objectives (like break a Gajillion Totems, loot 500 Chests, etc.). Those are more annoying IMO.

The only challenges I mind are the ones that make people play stupid.
Things like unhooking 3 survivors in the same match. It just ends up creating a lot of matches where you have even more survivors then usual going for unsafe hook removals because they're trying to complete a challenge.
