Idea for a Legion perk build. Has anyone tried this?

I’ve been watching a few people on YouTube play the new killer and I’ve also read a few threads on this forum about them and it seems to be widely thought that Legion is a pretty weak killer. Now I’m not going to argue for or against that generally accepted view as i’m playing on Xbox and have no access to play the PTB and therefore have no experience with the new killer with which to form a full opinion.

I have however been considering possible perk builds for Legion that might help strengthen their weaknesses a little so I thought I’d post them here to see if anyone who has played Legion has used this build (or a similar one) or if they might want to give it a try before the PTB ends. The build is as follows...

Sloppy Butcher to create blood stains after hitting the survivors as well as hampering healing speeds after they mend themselves.
Bloodhound to make the blood stains easier to track after you leave one survivor to chase another.
Thanatophobia to slow healing even further as well as slowing repair speeds a little.
Play With Your Food to improve base movement speed, seemingly their biggest flaw.

The in game strategy would be to use the mobility advantages of Feral Frenzy to just start spreading out wounds as fast as possible while also determining who the obsession is and gaining some ‘PWYF’ stacks. Once a few different survivors are hurt use the blood stains to find one (not the obsession, obviously) and get into a chase with them, use Feral Frenzy to close the gap between the two of you, until you’re right on top of them but resist the urge to stab them. Instead, cancel the Frenzy yourself and then use to added speed from ‘PWYF’ to then chase them down at either 115.5% (1 stack), 121% (2 stacks), or 126.5% (3 stacks)... I really hope my maths is up to scratch here lol... additionally I would recommend applying a lot of pressure to the central area of the map to ensure that if the worst should happen, then the last three generators will be close together.

Well there you have it, that’s what I’ve come up with, I’m not saying it’s a perfect build or even a reasonable way to compensate for the Legions apparent power shortcomings, I’m just curious if anyone thinks that this could work, or if anyone has already tried this and knows whether it does or doesn’t work.

I think Legion commits too many "offensive actions" to make PWYF really work... Like the idea in theory thought.

Yeah that’s a fair point, one of my concerns about the build was trying to manage Play With Your Food properly.
