The zombies feel kind of useless
I've had a survivor run right next to them, and not even get hit.
Did they shrink the hitbox even when they're not blinded?

I've had a survivor pick me and another guy up while we were right next to a zombie and she didn't do anything.

It seems like they only hit you if you intentionally run into it

The patch notes did say that they made modifications to the Zombie AI and stuff. I wonder if they screwed something up in the process and unintentionally made the zombies overly derpy.

I just had a zombie slug the entire team for me i was on a haddonfield map and they were all trying to get a gen done so i stood mext thing i know it popped and then everyone was slugged because somehow someone drew the attention of one zombie that blocked them all getting out of the basement i literally thought it was because of my infection but they all said they felt like idiots after the match.

I LOVE the Zombies. Whether as Nemesis or Survivor.
It hilarious when survivors get hit by one they didn’t realise they were running near mid chase, and as survivor I’ve had some jump scare moments getting near a Zombie I wasn’t previously aware of, or very nervous about one coming closer to where I’m working on a gen.
I think the Zombies add tension and moments of chaos, and have really freshened things up in DBD.

I've found them to be a massive annoyance.

It feels horrible being downed by ai that the killer had no control over.
I played a game on the new map and the zombies just tracked me and only me all game. Naturally this dragged the killer to me constantly and caused me issues at loops and hallways because they would just walk up and stand at the pallet so i couldn't use it.
If you make them too smart or faster they will be cheap and oppressive.

Hell yeah, they're the best thing about this dlc.
Was playing as survivor, coldwind, running from nemesis in the corn injured, then suddenly run face first into a zombie I didn't see through the corn. I just laughed my ass off cause it was so dumb and funny.

I'm still getting zoned by them.
I thought in ptb they had a detection issue. I guess they may have fixed it, but maybe it caused them to wander onto survivors way into the distance and end up sometimes doing nothing at all.

I’ve almost messed my underwear a handful of times with things like that occurring mid chase. It’s great for this game, and the chases to feel tense and scary again.

The rng feels awful for both sides. They either camp a hook/generator and down the whole team or they wander around in the middle of nowhere.
They should be attracted to the nearest active generator or the nearest slammed pallet to offer some kind of forced counterplay that offsets Nemesis’ abysmally slow start. You know, classic zombie rules of being attracted to loud noises.

I'm not sure about them yet. In one of my survivor games today, a zombie kept me from doing a gen by chasing me every time I went near it, so that one did something.

I’m finding them kinda annoying atm. I just gotta get used to them I’m sure but, right now, they keep hanging out around the generator and I keep having to stop repairing, lead them away, work till it comes back, repeat.

They are pretty good when you have the yellow detection range and a speed addon. I tried double speed and it’s not as good.
The considerably increased detection range lets them double as a tracking tool for you and makes them more likely to join in on a chase.

But they're not even getting close.

I’ve played 5-6 games and had zombie hits and downs many times already. Granted I’m running the depleted ink ribbon + admin wristband mostly. That combo makes the zombies significantly more of an obstacle. Toss an indoor map offering in there and you are set for some super annoying zombies.

They are. Mine keep finding some stupid rock to stand by, and do nothing for half the match. I have yet to get one indoor map, where I assume they would be better. On outdoor maps, they're useless.

They need the admin wristband, it’s probably the best zombie addon. The default sight range is only 14 meters according to the wiki, extending that to 20+ meters makes them significantly more aggressive. I tried the iridescent speed and it didn’t matter how fast they were since they were not detecting anyone.
Im not super impressed by tier 3 so I’m going to go ahead and say it could be his best addon. The other ones mainly just increase how fast you get to tier 3 instead of just making the zombies way better.

I think the same ;)

My experience playing against Nemesis is that the zombies are quite a nuisance if you don't have a flashlight, at least once a match a zombie would harass me while working a gen even on outdoor maps. Would be powerful combined with ruin. Also because nemesis sees the zombies auras they give him good info ie zombie chasing with arms out? survivor there. Zombie dazed? Survivor flashlight stunned zombie here recently. Zombie on top of a gen and not chasing a survivor? Must not be survivors working on it. I think that info they give is qutie good and when people start to realize it, they'll say they're not that bad, although them sometimes getting stuck is an issue I've noticed.
