They're not going to nerf Nemesis, are they?
I'm not familiar with the specifics, but a lot of people have said that when Pyramidhead was released, he was an S-tier killer before being nerfed to B-tier once BHVR had turned enough of a profit, and now I'm scared they'll do something like that to Nemesis.
Granted, Nemesis definitely isn't an S-tier killer (he's a low A-tier at the very most), but nerfing him any would make him unplayable. I want him to stay exactly the way he is.
I actually hear some people here complaining that he might be underpowered, but I don't think that's the case, either. Maybe it's just that I usually play Myers or Ghostface, and being able to win loops and have map pressure without perks is a new experience for me, but I don't think the comparisons to Trickster are fair (Trickster is a ######### dork).
The zombies are stupid, yes, but... they're zombies. They're not supposed to be rocket scientists. I'd like it if they turned around as soon as they ran into a blocking object instead of aimlessly shambling into a rock for ten seconds, but that's mostly because it just looks goofy. Otherwise, they do their job well. They provide decent map pressure by forcing survivors off of gens, and they also provide decent tracking. They can't actually down survivors unless survivors are repeatedly running into them, and they aren't generally able to hit survivors unless both of them are on the basement stairs or something. The zombies are my favorite part, and I feel like nerfing them would be an especially huge mistake.
The hitbox for the tentacle attack is small, and the cooldown animation is annoying, but it makes up for these by being able to break pallets and hit survivors that are well out of reach for M1. It's going to take some practice to be good at it, but I imagine it will be very usable once one gets the hang of it. I've managed a Merciless once out of four or five games, and I'm not a great killer yet (12 is the highest I've gotten).
The contamination mechanic and the vaccines are also a powerful counter to Nemesis, giving survivors an extra health state as well as free healing. This seems fair, since survs are going to get tracked frequently, but nerfing the killer any more on top of this would knock Nemesis down to D or C-tier.
On top of all that, the RE Chapter gives survivors some of the most impressive and powerful survivor perks in the history of the game, including a game-changing counter to Hex perks. (And I don't think that any of these should be nerfed, either.)
Nemesis seems like a fairly well-balanced killer, and I hope his playstyle doesn't change significantly. I wouldn't say no to tweaking the zombie AI slightly to make them less likely to try to walk through walls for half a minute, and I'd also make it so that T2 and T3 could break pallets and hit survs at the same time (it only seems to do one or the other), but, overall, I think he's a unique but very well-balanced killer.
You all have got me paranoid. What is the likelihood that BHVR nerfs this killer into the ground once I've really started to enjoy myself with him?

Nemesis already weak, C-Tier. I do not think they will nerf him from C to D.

IMO here is why nemesis should be nerfed. There is zero mindgame to him. This was the same issue with pyramid head when he first released. You would M2 and drag your blade, but the survivor had no idea whether or not you would throw your ability or simply m1 for the easy hit. It's the exact same with Nemesis. When attempting to loop him, if it's a short wall, he can simply hit you over it and there is no counter play to it. This is the same reason why as PH you have a small delay when you swap between your M2 and M1 ability. BHVR has gotten really REALLY bad as of late with making killers that just plow through survivors with no counter play other than to just gen rush.
When Playing as Nemesis, I can easily whip someone and continue the chance, if they stay at the current loop and don't drop a pallet, it's an easy hit. If they do drop the pallet, I break it super fast then catch up.

If the Devs think he performs too good, they will nerf him.
Pyramid Head also only got the most problematic things nerfed - seeing Cages lead to PHs camping all the time and he got an increased Cooldown after cancelling his ability, because they were lose/lose situations at Windows and Pallets (if the Survivor vaults-->use M2, if they did not vault-->use M1).

Nothing they did to PH actually removed anything he could do, people are just lazy AF. He can still do the exact same super scummy plays that he could on release, it's now just slightly more punishing if you time it wrong. And I do mean slightly.

Nerfing Nemesis would be such a joke since he's underpowered anyways. He's a weaker Pyramid Head/Plague that not only has an "infection" that doesn't do jack squat other than allowing him to injure, but it also gives survivors a Sprint Burst away. Not to mention, his "tier 3" isn't intimidating at all.
With this being said, Nemesis is a B tier killer imo. I think he's pretty strong for what he is but definitely deserves a few minor buffs. If the devs were to nerf anything, It'd be zombies being able to camp hooks, but even that is subjective because it rarely happens/and works.

But the difference between him and Pyramidhead is that PH doesn't give you an extra health state to play with when you get hit with his power. Nemesis can slap a survivor across a pallet, but it's not going to cause damage on the first attempt, and the hitbox is so goddamn small that you're just as likely to dodge it as to get hit. Nerfing his ability to close loops would definitely be taking away one of the only things making him playable. If they nerf that, they'd better get rid of the extra health state and vaccines as well.
Also, again, survivors have been handed some pretty broken-ass perks with this update. I don't think that is a bad thing, either, necessarily - they make the game more fun. But, Christ, nerfing Nemesis is a terrible idea.

Pyramid Head was barely nerfed at all, lots of people like Otzdarva even think he was buffed. All they did was make it less punishing to miss a shockwave attack.

PH was released at a time Decisive Strike was still a high quality perk. Being too much of a DS counter is one of the main reason that made survivors complain.
Nemesis is ok against low elo players. I dont think he will be nerfed : its the first time there is AI in the game, their data analysis might take more time.

When Trickser was released, not a single survivor soul seriously said he is OP. Everyone was saying that he is weakest killer in the game. So he got a slight buff.
Opinions about Nemesis are different. Some people say he is weak and need buff, some people say he is strong. So I expect devs will leave him at current state for a while.

the vaccines are limited so half way through the match, all survivors are at least infected anyways and I don't believe you can say the survivor perks are broken when the most power perks (flashbang and blast mine) can both be easily countered with lightborn. Throw in the additional RNG with the zombies cutting off loops and getting free hits/downs on survivors it won't take long before there are dozens of nemesis mains dominating the red ranks.

What this guy said. he's not weak, but most people lack the kind of intelligence necessary to do well with him; too many 'run run run go fast' type brains. No startegists, no thinkers, just 'Killer go fast?!'

Nemesis has a long cooldown between releasing his m2 and being able to m1. Way more than what release PH had which was 0.
Nemesis cancel cd is 1.5s
PH cancel cd is 1s

I don't really think his kit needs changes. I would like to see the zombies become infect/injure only though. It's pretty absurd how effective they can be at chasing people off gens and getting downs when RNG helps them. Make it so that when they hit an already injured and infected player they activate killer instinct for a few seconds or something.

I mean, they nerfed Victor, and Twins is D tier. . .

I really need to sit down and talk to these people putting Nemesis in A tier man.

The rank 20 survivors complain while the people that know what they are doing know he is bad.

On release PH was weaker than current PH and I will fight on this hill to the day I die.
On topic it's unlikely. Nemesis is nowhere near as exploitable as on release PH used to be
