Anyone else find the Nemesis’ punch unsatisfying when you land a hit?

I mean, yeah, they get hurt and the punch itself looks cool, but it “feels” like you’re just punching air. Like it just doesn’t quite connect. It’s hard to say what’s missing here, but it’s just “off”.

I find the gold standard to be that solid whack you get when Hillbilly hits with his mallet. You clock the survivor in the head and you can’t help but think “dang that had to hurt!”

It feels weird as a survivor too IMO. Feels like a stand-in animation or something, like something else is supposed to be there.

I don't. I think the punch is frickin' hilarious and makes him really fun to play. Overall, Nemesis is very fun to play albeit being broken.

Oh I agree that the punch is fantastic! It’s a lot of fun smashing a survivor in the face. The problem is that when you actually hit them, there’s not any feedback - or not ENOUGH feedback - to make it feel like you actually connected with them. I don’t know if we need a sound effect or some additional animation or something, but that’s my take on it.

I see you haven't punched a Meghead yet.

I agree, I don't even have to play as the character to know that just from being on the receiving end of a punch of from seeing through videos, it almost sounds like a sound effect should be placed there. Even if it's just some sort of placeholder gushing sound like when Huntress hits a hatchet. That way it would actually give that feedback of "yeeeaaa, I'm doing damage to their body."

My thoughts exactly! A sound effect would go a long way! A “squish” of blood or a “crack” of bone or even a comic-book-style “bam” or “pow”!

I think what it feels like in my brain is almost like "punching their aura." You throw the fist, you see them get hurt and run, but it's almost like you're just kinda punching air lol

I think it could definitely be better, (better sound effects, more of a hook rather than a jab) but if I'm being honest, I still find it immensely satisfying in its current state

My experience is different. Dwight kept trying to use a flashlight on me. I walked up right to him and he took a massive monster punch right in the face. Him wobbling backward and grabbing his face was so awesome, I was tearing up from laughter, lmao!

I've not played as Nemesis, but being punched in the face or the back of the head is hilarious to me. I actually had a Nemesis down me and my teammate ran up to heal me and the second I stood up, Nemesis punched me in the face and I did a flip.

I agree that a nifty sound effect would be nice.
