There is no "right amount". It's the fact they basically said all of the issues that the patch has brought out which include up to staggering performance issues on rigs that never existed pre-patch, to the point it's impossible to actually play, to actually removing half of the DLC people paid for because it just doesn't work is equal to an hour of our time. It's a giant middle finger to the entire player base. The LEAST they could do is offer a double BP weekend once they have sorted the issues out. But as it stands? 300k is the equivalent to being told piss off.

Ok imo it should be more Double bloodpoint weekends besides the Patch. Ok when this Patch is the worst of all( i dont know the problems from earlier patches, playing since a year) maybe it would be nice they can give some Aura cells or free cosmetics. I just dont want that many people give up playing dbd.

Skyrim was not an online multiplayer game. Bugs and crashes could be dealt with using old saves. You learned to save often. In DBD, bugs and crashes cause you to lose. No saves. No backups.
Don't be scared: compare DBD to Fallout 76. That's more appropriate.

Well while we're on the topic of BF now, I'm pretty disappointed that it's only 128 players on the map.
I can remember a ps3 game that pulled off to double THAT, called MAG.
and trust me that game was F ING awesome, to bad the studio ruined itself and does not longer exist.
But the 126v126 was freaking cool, and this was on a ps3 for crying out loud.
But anyway, even though it was on a ps3, I'm very surprised that bhvr can't even handle a 4v1 game 😅

Many people overlook the way that stay at home orders and quarantining has affected the gaming industry. DbD isn't the only game to release bug-ridden patches. These developers are working over the cloud to fix a Triple A title working from home... Some empathy for these devs would be nice.
That being said, with the map being disabled for 3 days now, pushing 4, another BP gift is almost expected...

The 4th year anniversary had to be extended by like 2 weeks because cakes werent working like they were meant to.
The map was disabled in like an hour, after being on the PTB for weeks, how did they not catch it

How am I being rude, im stating facts. Did they or did they not mess up the 4th anniversay event and have to extend it? You said we should go easy because theyre working at home, I am stating facts to show they dont just mess up at home.
Go play an hour of this, and see how grateful you are. Playing on one of the best pcs for gaming money can buy right now.
Ive spent over $500 on this game, theyre not the only devs working from home.

Not sure how long you've been around on dbd, but if you have been here way before covid happend than you will know that what you're saying is just bs.
They delivered broken dlc and updates before covid happened, so giving that excuse just doesn't work?
It's just time they start stepping up their game and start delivering some good content instead of buggy ones.
It's a pity that many people will except some silly amount of bp as compensation as an excuse they messed up AGAIN.
I don't care 1 single bit about about the BP, nor do I care about any other for of compensation to silence you.
All I care about is that the start delivering what they should, until the they can shove their compensation where the sun don't shine.

I wasnt even doing anything bad, I was trying to reply to the guy who said I was being rude by showing a video of how busted the game is right now. They kept removing it.
He said theyre only messing things up now because theyre trying to work from home, I was trying to give pre covid examples.

Yea, that's what they do. Someone reports a comment and even if it's baseless a mod will come by and take it down. God help you if you dare use swear words in a M Rated game though because woo boy they take it as a crime.
