Is the SBMM still on? Or did the patch broke matchmaking again?

Title basically
didn't play killer in a while so I bounced back to 20. 90% of my games are 4 men stack SWF below rank 10. I'm a red rank killer so I don't care but #########?
On the survivor side its the opposite. I play solo 99% of the time, I'm rank 8, and 95% of my allies in the last 15 games are between rank 15 and 20

Nope ranks are in play as of right now. There’s a lot of survivors in queues so matchmaking brackets expand to find a killer

I don't get it. If there are so many survivors why can't I find players of my rank?

There’s too many red rank survivors compared to red rank killers so it has to find killer for the red rank survivors anyway
