So i reached tier 40 in 5 days, or better: 57 Hours. (Yep, thats alot for 5 days..)
On PS5 you can check your hours. Its seperated from PS4 hours and PS5 hours for DbD. (Got 57 on PS5 already and 2686 on PS4 and even like 500 more on Switch)
I only started the rift when i started playing on my new PS5 and in this 57 hours, i only got to tier 40. I almost completed every challanges so far, except some survivor and plague challanges.
It definitely got better then the last rifts, but the grind is still huge!

The progression is way better now with the changes they made. I prefer the way BHVR does progression than Ubisoft does for their Rainbow Six Siege battle pass.
In Rainbow Six Siege there's 100 tier levels and you only get like 100xp if you lose a match in quick match, get 300xp if you win your match. You get a bit more in ranked and unranked, but since I solo queue, I get trolls, toxic players, and generally lose more than I win so it takes forever to tier up for me in that one. Plus, they only have like 4 battle pass challenges that give 800xp like every two weeks it feels.
Matches tend to be long in ranked/unranked so you'd have to invest a lot of time to get such little XP in the end if you lose.
