What's up with Corrupt Intervention?
I kid you not, literally 90% of my games i've played as survivor since this update, the killer has been using Corrupt Intervention. Anyone else seen a huge increase in the use of it?

They're probably combining it with Lethal Pursuer.

Theres a corrupt challenge in last archive level

Because survivors often spawn near the gens that get blocked by corrupt which gives the killer some time to get going before starting to worry about gens.
It's just a patch work to a larger issue with how quickly survivor objects can get done and some maps being unforgiving with tile rng.

CF isnt that good tbh, at least not on its own, SG and DH are way better

It's always been a pretty popular perk. It's THE anti-early game perk, and that's one of the biggest weaknesses for killers. That and sealing off 3 gens is guaranteed value whereas totem perks aren't.

Counterforce is the best totem perk available. The perk give you cleansing speed and location vs small game that give you an idea were the totem but you have a totem counter on it. Detective hunch activate only when a gen is complete the best one at the start but lose all his value when the game progress.

There's a few reasons.
1) A LOT of people are playing Nemesis, and his early game is easily when he's at his weakest. Your tentacle is borderline useless, no one is infected yet, etc. Corrupt forces survivors into a smaller space and prevents early gen rush right where they spawn. If you combine it with lethal pursuer you can disrupt most of the team for at least a short time.
2) Corrupt has always been good with area control killers like Hag and Trapper, and I like using it on Demogorgon as well. Any killer that requires setup (Beartraps, Hag Traps, Demogorgon Portals) likes the perk as it helps get some breathing space to get setup before gens start flying.
3) Unlike Ruin or Pop, Corrupt works no matter what you do at the start of the match. Pop requires downing someone and ruin often gets cleansed once people know to look out for it.
Apparently this is a thing too.

Yeah a location of a totem across the map... not only do you waste a huge amount of time going from totem to totem like that, the totem could be cleansed by someone else before you even get there.
SG is quite accurate at the very least, i ran both separately and i had a considerably easier time finding the totem with SG, also CF requires you to find a totem in the first place.

It was always popular like this since it is one of the best of very few early game perks.

Finding totem is easy you spawn on them anyway its like that for 3/4 of my game

Its not that much of an increase most killer use that perk the spawn are to blame for that and the early game is non existant for killer.
