Please for the love of entity, optimize and fix this game
As a fellow console player, this update has seriously made the overall experience (both roles) a miserable mess. We already know how awful console matches can go, but bruh it feels like the lag spikes are happening EVERY SECOND now. Not to mention that a massive amount of PC players are affected too. This game feels more like a chore now in most cases.
At this point, this is more than "optimize console" but optimize the entire game! My console can run other multiplayer games really really REALLY fine, but when it comes to this one, my poor console is having a seizure every second. There are complaints of people's consoles/PC's literally overheating now and possibly damaged. My Xbox was overheating too only after one hour of booting it up.
I'm sorry, but DBD has to be the worst optimized online game I've ever played in my life. There's a mega thread that I'm sure most of us have already seen, but it's come to the point where we all need to use our voice and stand up for this mess. I love the game don't get me wrong, but as someone who wants to see this game thrive (not just in popularity or in money) our voices need to be heard to the devs so they can DO something about it and not just "Oh we fudged up our update as usual? dang... here's some bloodpoints though! Now you have to forgive us :)"

This game is literally unplayable right now and I feel so bad for the people who have to currently deal with it. I just don't understand how BHVR screwed up so bad, like this is almost worse than a Binding of Kin.. if not worse?

Yeah, this chapter made me so excited, but how can we play new content when the game doesn't even properly function.
The devs need to get their priorities straight ASAP bc this is so sad considering this IS the anniversary chapter smh.

Based on prior history no, but there is always hope.
I am on console as well and the game is largely unplayable, especially as killer. Ive already made my post about it but wanna upvote yours so hopefully the devs will feel pressure from all the people upset by it.

Whats the point of getting new RE fans if this is what theyll experience? Theyll delete it off gamepass.
I would, its only that I am 800 hours in and have stockholm syndrome I dont. Many games on GP I download, dont like and delete

I really want to voice my thoughts on how strong Nemesis is, but because of the terrible frame skips, I can't. It skews the match results too much.

Yeah the frame drops are HORRIBLE. So much worse than usual. I played ONE killer game and I was like, nah bro. I switched back to survivor and two crashes in a row... this new year for the game is going SO great.

This is one of the most important updates in the games history, even bigger than silent hill and they ######### it.
Their priority should have been matchmaking and stability, not skins they could have come later.

I'm on PS4.Had to log out (Solo survivor) because I've never experienced the lag/freezing etc in this game until now.
It is unplayable atm for me

The freezing/lag/crashes are just out of hand.
I've been playing other games and focusing on other things until they iron out this patch.

At this point, the only reason I still play this game is because I've invested so much time and money into it. But there's only so much I can take. If Behavior doesn't optimize this game soon, I'm quitting.

Problem is lots of them will try it with gamepass and then delete it and never come back. The power of licence killers is huge and behaviour ruined it.
I started because of silent hill, and it was on gamepass. If I had of experienced this, I would have deleted and never came back

This is another case of player entitlement. Instead of going to the devs for our issues, how about instead we learn to compensate for the lag & bugs? Ever thought of that or are we gonna keep being selfish?

How are we suppose to compensate for the obnoxious issues this game has when they deliberately promised console optimization and overall health improvements for the game across all platforms back in 2018... if anything, this game's optimization has gotten worse. We as players have been asking for fixes, but have they listened? Of course they have, that's why we have this mess of an update and people literally not able to play the game as of right now. But no worries we got a measly 300k bp and some overpriced skins to buy right? It's fine BHVR is doing so well.
